I soloed him, with my level 8 rogue, and he just beat me all over the place. He kept his concentration even though I was attacking him and hit me with posion and then started hitting me for 22 damage per hit.

these things are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO weak all all normal gooboo casters and priests are that (i am not meaning aqua that has an 75 dmg nuke)i killed them with TOTAL ease in lvl 8 9 and 10 (after 10 i went to ec)
I am a level 16 gnome tank, and I went to a goblin camp with two warriors, a shaman, and a wizard, took on all of them, and won losing about 40% of my life.

I am a LVL 11 Dwarf Tank named Clevem. I like to kill the goblins and at 11 the Shamans con light blue and the Wizards white. Either one is easy enough just expect to lose a red bub or two and carry a dot for a few minutes. But DON'T, i repeat don't solo a wiz and a shamy at the same time! Kicked my but quick!

If you are in a lower level group, be careful, they cast lower level dots like fever and such, but if your in a lower level group, make sure you have a tank to take them out, cause I've found that if your taking out goblin camps in bb, melee is the best way.

I have seen the clay totem +5 hp all over norrath. Mooto drops it in Misty Thicket. You would be better served to sell it to the merchants, because a PC isnt gonna pay over 1pp for it. The Bone Totem however is a little more rare than they lead it on to be.

Not at all, my level 12 radha handled it easy peasy at level 10, she was a druid. You can handle it easily I estimate. They're magic is level 1 and 5

after having several dwarfs and raising all my characters in bb till 10, I can say I have never seen one that is level 16, most are green by 12 or 13 or so.

One of these goblin shaman in Butcherblock dropped a Clay Totem. Magic item +5 hp, hand-held item. This was the first time I've seen one of these items and I'm not sure if it's something that they've recently added.

I had the same experience. Wonder if it is worth more than the 1 plat or so my neighborhood shopkeeper is offering.

Looks are deceiving. A goblin shaman did not break a sweat in taking apart my lvl 7 paladin. If you are used to beating up on goblins, you may want someone covering your back before you solo a goblin shaman.

Watch it this guy casts a whole host of lower leveld DoTs so you may not have just survived on 2 health :) easier in melee then his level would let on, (i found him easier then one of those wizards)

Welp Ive ran into a shaman and a wizard while venturing solo into one of the goblin camps with my 9th lvl paladin. I had just attacked a goblin warrior when the whole camp decieded to come out and play. Luckily I lived long enough to leave my corpse a bit away from the camp so I could retrieve it later....tip O'the day, target spell casters while retreating.
