He summons by the way so kiters beware and if you turn in for the quest "massive retaliation" he becomes a kos see invis.

You can start the massive retaliation quest without any prequests. When Ganekk walks upto the slaves quest area and says one of his random texts Galadvert Nablisten will say 'That ghastly ogre is back. If only I had some [assistance]!'
If you hail her she wont give you the quest text just walk upto her and say assistance and follow the quest text. Grab the quill, vellum, and ink from the research vendors in PoK. When you turn them in your task updates but you wont get handed the fake orders until you say orders to Galadvert.
Ganekk is Immune to changes in run speed. He is not attackable unless you are on the massive retaliation quest. What I did was put the fake orders in trade, feign then complete the trade. When I stood up he was still dubious but attackable.

Galadvert Nablisten says 'It's a euphemism. It means someone is stealing from us and we're likely to die if we don't [discover] something soon.'
You say, 'discover'
Galadvert Nablisten says 'Aren't you the curious one? You want to [help] or were you planning on talking me to death?'
You say, 'help'
Ganekk Dopp shouts 'Back to work! You can rest when I kill you!'
Galadvert Nablisten says 'That ghastly ogre is back. If only I had some [assistance]!'
You say, 'assistance'
Galadvert Nablisten says 'He's horrible. I've been trying to find a way to get rid of that [ogre] for months now, but I just don't have the ability on my own.'
You say, 'ogre'
Galadvert Nablisten says 'His name is Ganekk Dopp, and he exists only to follow orders. As long as he's been here, his orders have been to make us work harder. He follows orders so strictly he won't even fight us when we try to goad him into a trap. If I had some [implements] maybe I could falsify something.'
You say, 'implements'
Galadvert Nablisten says 'He only responds to official orders. He won't even look twice at anything I write on the scraps I can scrounge around here. You, though... can you get me the [materials] I need?'
You say, 'materials'
You have been assigned the task 'Massive Retaliation'.
Galadvert Nablisten says 'This is what I need...'
you must deliver 3 items back to Galadvert.
a quill
1 roll of vellium
1 ink of zek
once handed in, you get an item that you must hand in to Ganekk Dopp. Make sure that you have your group ready. Once you hand in item, he will start to attack you. In order to finish the quest, Ganekk must die. If you hand in item without killing him, you must redo the quest.
Once he is dead, you get your task update and completed quest.
Rewards: 60 Chronobines, faction, experience, and quest armor piece.
