Like other crystalline nameds in this zone, it has several spawn points with static mobs on it, but only 1 named can be spawned at same time.
Not many ppl camp them for SoD gears now, if you were going to do it then you should check around to make sure the named hadn't pop at somewhere else.
It poped at 1506, -2723 to me today, dropped Everguard Spaulders and Phased Medial Incandessence.
Then showed 1990, -1720, dropped another set of same loots as the previous one.

about to engage this mob.....being back from a year break and checking out all these new mobs (for me),i rly wish you guys would post how hard they hit and if they summon.....being the first to post on this guy, you're kind of obligated to list valuable information....whats the point of posting??
Does anyone know if this is a random spawn or will only spawn once in 24 hours cause for the last 3 days we've camped him from around 1700-1800 hours to 0100 hours and have only seen it spawn once a night. I play on the test sever if anyone know if that matters.

Something strange just happened.
A friend of mine had the normal PH targeted, all of a sudden he had no target anymore. Instead of that PH there was this named.
PH despawned, in his stead the Named spawned. Nobody was killing anything.

There are two phs for the mob. If you are setting on the hill looking south the mob to the east of you is a ph too. I killed the name there last nite.

When I killed it the mob was a Level 87 Magician. It spawned from the static spawn point at /loc p1990 n1721. I pulled it to my camp at /loc p2225 n1707. It's a safe spot to camp. Nothing roams/spawns there.
Max hit on my 85 pally (4482 AC) was 6006, but it rarely hit that high. Most were 4k and under. It's a magician so it spends time casting which greatly reduces it's DPS. If you can handle the trash then you can handle this mob easily. My lvl85 druid was able to snare it with the Entrap AA.

Wasn't very safe for me. Were about 6 mobs there when I went there, and something broke my invis.

I've killed it 4 times and it's always spawned in the same spot so I'm leaning towards a static loc.

If you camp on the Northern most point of Crystal Lake, you'll spawn this. Got him twice from mobs right at this camp. Specifically, the static spawn directly east.

Just killed tonight, dropped 1HB mace. Mob popped slightly south of loc +2175/-1641 on the lake's north shore.
He has some sort of mana kill AE, Crystalline Lysotis.
EDIT: Popped second time after killing PH 3 times, dropped mace again.

Is placeholder a crystalline sphere? There's a small ramp with this mob on the end near the loc you described.

it is not a crystalline sphere as a ph. The ph is slightly more east and closer to the wall. hope this helps =)
