A couple of the guards in Qeynos have names that are similar to names of knights of the round table from the Arthurian legends. Maybe they took inspiration from these knights.
Lieutenant Arathur = Arthur
Corporal Lancot = Lancelot
Lieutenant Dagarok = Possible combination of Dagonet (the court jester) and Lamorak

The message is to Rolius in North Freeport in the Temple of Marr and it's to say that you are a [friend of arathur]

hehehh....quad 450 huh? wlel, i dunno. he's not as tall as lancot heheh..lancot's more than a full head on most people, arathur's prolly only about 6'11 ;) anyways, when did you see him attack? hehe...some moron go w/out invis past the bank or somethin? there are huge *** barbs in the bank who'd attack anything he would ;) i'd say lvl 70's accurate

Despite looking like a regular guard, Arathur has paladin faction, and he is one mean *******. He could easily solo the entire zone, priest of discord included. He quad attacks for 450 and I'm willing to bet he can lay hands. He should have made marshall or general by now :/
