Dropped the level 79 necro spell Auroral Darkness II tonight -- possibly the rarest droppable spell in the game.
After snooping around a bit, I've come to the conclusion that Spodwork spawns on the 2nd floor, in the NE pod. This is of course assuming the screenshot was taken in front of Spodwork's pod. (It would make sense for him to spawn in the this pod, because his shadowstep effet is similar to the teleportation effect that the equipment in the room does. If you wanna experience this, just walk into one of the containers.)

What we did was everyone got right on him so tank was always close to grab aggro back. It worked well.
His knockback/shadowstep this is a very interesting lil effect. I scrolled back my view during the fight, and what he was doing was switching places with other people on his agro list. It seems to happen to the top of the agro list the most, and by the end of the fight only the tank was picked.
My advice is to build up a little agro on tank, and to have everyone bunch for this one.

Pulling this guy gave my group some serious grief tonight.
Cast https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/spell.html?spell=7959 and has a knockback/shadowstep like effect immediatly on aggro (dont need to do any damage).
Max hit was only 2372 on an average geared 76 SK with about half my defensive AA's
