He spawns near the 4 orcs and the mystic, near the water. I was able to pull him single w/o any paci or anything. We only killed the mystic in the center, and he spawned right away. We did not have to kill the other four: Just the mystic (trigger), and then the named. We dragged him to the shore near Kassailla, and killed him there.
Drowse is particularly annoying. I used infusion to resist it.
To trigger him you can just pull and kill the Bloodmoon Mystic without killing the other orcs around the alter. I pulled it across the lake to near where Kassailla is. This seemed to be out of range of Gangus, he didn't charge me. This meant I was able to med properly and get ready for him.
As a lvl 80 SK with 17k hp, 3600 AC unbuffed I had intended to solo this entire series. However, this **** is no push-over. His max hit on me was 3099.. about twice the normal damage of the other mobs in zone. Snare landed, but I didnt get a chance to see if he summons or not. Will edit when I find out. heh
The orc's around the alter spawn at 7pm game time.
They ALL have to be killed in order for the named to spawn. Once you have the named spawned you have until 3am to have him killed, otherwise he will despawn.
The named spawns on the WEST side of the alter, there on the little knoll.
He spawns at -33, +1463, east of the altar on the island in he middle of the lake, when a Bloodmoon Mystic is killed during the Dwinn #4: An Orcish Ritual quest.
How do I know this, you ask?
I was standing there after the Bloodmoon Mystic was defeated and I was one-rounded back to bind when he spawned right on top of me. I did a /loc before taking my rez.
Set up on the west side of the island to kill the Bloodmoon Mystic and, when the Mystic is down, he will come to you. A much better strat for sure!!
