Having read many posts about this guy, I was really afraid to attempt him. But, I downed him about 10 minutes ago, and wanted to correct some false info thats been posted.

Spawned after a server up at: +1250, -1300, +625

Be ready for a tough fight, but still easier then some of these posts made him out to be. Be ready for SPIKEY damage output from him. I'd definetly suggest 2 healers, and fast heals.

I just got through camping this guy in that spot. Just logging in every 20 min, mollify the adds, and pull the placeholder. There were exactly 30 placeholders in a row before I saw Eldervine.

So he is Rare with a capital R.

A necro in zone says he also spawns in the gazebo right before the NW room where that map loc is. But I have never seen him there.

The actual fight is pretty easy. He hits you with the Bounce Knockback / DD right away, then a minute into the fight he does his slow AE. Remove Greater Curse fixes it. His HP are really low so if you have a full group you can kill him before he does it.

This mob also dumped the AE spell Blood of Fire on me today.

dropped aleather class bracer that is attuneable infusable 340 hpsmana 33 ac type 7 and type 13 aug slots dont remember name or exact stats. mob isnot flagged a raid mob.

Actual mob name is: Eldervine the Twisted
