Newbie dark elf necromancers find a Tattered Note (identifies as "Guild Summons") in their inventory, which reads:
The Lodge of the Dead is now your home, and Xon Quexill your master. Take this note to him, and follow his orders.
Give the note to Xon Quexill (1282.06, -1252.87, -78.84). You receive a Dark Stained Training Robe*.
Xon Quexill says 'Just what I need in this outfit, another waste of flesh. Here, put this on. Go bother Talorial for a while - I'm sure he has some menial task for you. Return to me when you have become more experienced in our art, I will be able to further instruct you on how to progress through your early ranks, as well as in some of the various [trades] you will have available to you. You'd better prove yourself of value to me. I hear I can get few plat for the skull of an idiot on the black market, and I could make a fortune from your type. Now, get outta here!'

Ok, this is stupid. I got the message for this quest, so I went to check it out. I'm an ogre, but for the most part all the DEs are only dubious. However, when I got to Xon, I noticed that he and those around him glared threateningly. So now I can't do this quest. Anyone have any idea what faction Xon and friends are, and how to raise it up?

he is on "The dead" faction. i think you can raise it by killing paladins in freeport or other cities
I recently did the quest for the eye. It took me three trys to get it done. It was entirely worthless. He said he was giving me something; when I looked into my bags...nada. The froglok parts thing is for newb players who don't know much about the zones. Not really worth doing past lvl 20.

I'd go ahead and give him the frog parts. You do get xp and faction bumps. I'm curious to see if anyone gets an item for the frog parts turn in.
dang it.. I just started this quest never seen it... thought it was something to do with the upcoming GM event (war) I'm lvl 70 and spent hours gathering items.. have some 100 frog parts...

Okay, I turned in tons of frog parts, got the faction bumps, whatever. Then it says he gives me a small item as a small token for my effort. Received nothing. (still trying to get that resolved through /petition and /bug) Then tried two of the quests, body parts and information. Ran out of time on the "Eye into the Past" before I had all items, decided to do the information quest.
These are all timed 6hr quests that involve drops from mobs on various planes. I was able to complete the "Cursed Memories" quest on a 2nd attempt.
What did I get for my effort and giving away some actually useful items?
A 1 shot potion that makes me look like a wood elf, no trade.
WASTE of time and energy. I was expecting something decent for the amount of work required.
Not sure if I will try the other two. I do have most of the items for the stupid eyeball quest, but not sure I'll get anything better.
A disappearing item and a 1 charge illusion potion. Still mad...

he now has additional text and gives out 3 tasks.
Hand him parts from Lguk or Uguk and he gives text for the tasks below.
1. Ashes to More Ashes (say what ashes)
2. Eye into the Past (say what body parts)
3. Cursed Memories (say what information)
all i've figured out so far.

i finished the 1st task, and i got 60% increase exp potion
maybe this is progresive quest. i am missing ldon items to finish 2nd and 3rd. will inform what will happen when i get those 2

After a few more turn ins (must have done some Dark Suppliers work previously....) his response changes to
"Well done. I almost have what I need, keep the frog parts coming."
hope this doesnt poof with the patch, kinda interested to see where it goes....
and when I asked him about "what Froglok body parts" he said nothing. no quest given as earlier stated.

i recently got told about this guy so i ran up to him and conversed on my own... theres more to it but i dont know where to get the drops he asks for.. say what froglock body parts and he will give you a quest that can take 6 hour duration to do... good luck and ill post if i get more

i went there, and said 'what project?' and he told me to collect body parts from young frogloks and undead frogloks.
then i went to guk and lower guk to farm parts (meat, legs, eyes, undead floglok tongues,...) and i turned in all that
was geting +faction hit to The dark supliers, some text and some exp
dont know if i should continute doing it, since it looks like some noobie quest. maybe later i could get some cool quest :)

after 200+ turn ins, text didnt change at all. guess thats all from that quest
