youre right, but correct me if im wrong but i remember at first if you did this quest twice, the second time you completed it he only offered you the two bracers you have not recieved as a reward yet; in other words he offered you two bracers which you could not even equip. I think this has been fixed though. It has been over a year since i originally made that post.

Thats incorrect, the bracer is not LORE and the Quest is repeatable for faction.

do both supplies and weapons tasks offer the same bracer reward?
The Mammoth Tusk return task gives only XP as a reward. And Faction, probably, I don't recall for certain.

Yes only experience and faction are the only reward for handing in 4 tusks

when you zone in from Icefall glacier, go across bridge and head east. go up at the end of the castle/fort to the second level then head back west. go into the first little door you see and he is right inside there. there is a path at the far end of the fort which leads up to the second level to be a little more clear. There will be a wraithguard captain just inside to the left of the door.

Having killed one of the giants I managed to mess up faction so cannot get this quest. Does anyone know what I can do/kill to raise faction with the giants in Valdeholm?

To answer my own question, I went to Frostcrypt and killed various xxx of Zek mobs to fix my faction. I am now able to get the quest.
Of course I now see that Allah has figured out the faction info anyway ;)

I just did this quest and luckily I read the option offered before I selected the type I wanted. A guildie today (chain class) accidentaly chose the plate wrist item. Just a heads up.
