You're a real *jerk*, you know that? Who are you to come into a forum like this and tell people to "SHUT UP"? The very *purpose* of this forum is for people to exchange on-topic thoughts and ideas about what is posted here - NOT for childish individuals like you to come along and slam them for doing so. I'm relatively new to EQ and I come here instead of pestering people in-game for information, and I'm willing to wager that you're one of those people who has adopted some way(s) of making EverQuest a less than enjoyable experience for many. Buzz off, pee-hole!
You are insane. I read through this particular subject forum and never saw one instance where somebody told you or somebody else to "Shut up" lol.
Anyhow, I was just wondering how it is possible to have 4 dark cirlets if they are lore. I suppose a group full of people could each have one. Also, I was wondering what class this mob was. He looks like a SK. I think I'll go kill him tonight =)
The reason you didn't see it was because the system filters out comments that have earned the rating of awful. If you look at the top you can change the filter to never and you will see it.
My brother and I camped Trazdon four nights in a row for about 2 hours every night. Finally dropped the Dark Circlet. His place holder is the second magician on the ramp. He spawns randomly. Sometimes he spawns twice in a row, other times he doesn't spawn for 5 or 6 PHs. He doesn't always drop the Dark Circlet. We killed him about 6 times over the 4 night camp before he dropped it. Hardest part about the room is breaking the spawn. Both magicians with pets will really beat you up. My 30 Druid and my brother's 26 Warrior were both about half life after each spawn break every night. However, resist fire made a big difference. There is an ogre officer at the very top of the ramp. He will not aggro if you engage the magicians. We killed him between magician spawns for something to do. (He conned blue or high green to my level 30 druid.) Once spawn is broken, magicians are wimpy. We would sit at their spawn point and attack them as they spawned. Went down pretty easy, especially since they didn't have their pets. (Only one magician in every ten or so gave my 30 druid experience.) However, as a bonus (because of the magicians), we collected several pieces of Damask armor and all four magician quest items (broom, torch, stein and shovel). Mist elementals occassionally spawned in the boiling blood (not lava) where the two earth elementals usually are. We killed several but never got the swirling mist. :( It was a fairly easy camp for our level and we experimented with livening it up by killing the Bonecracker in the next room, or trying to pull the ogre captain in there. These attempts went poorly. We both died on one occassion. hehe. However, even if we did live, we usualy were beat up pretty bad and unable to hold the Trazdon room afterward. We'd then have to break the spawn again. However, a three man team could probably hold the room and pull from the other rooms much better. At level 26, most of the greens still aggroed my brother. However, my level 30 druid had less problems, although I still got aggroed on occassion by the ogre guards that wander the halls. When pulling from the other rooms, I could get a better pull because less aggroed, however, my less armored, less hit point druid paid for it (of course, druids aren't meant for pulling).
Extremely useful info ty! I was wondering though, how hard is it to get to this room? It would be me and another 27 warrior, or would we better off comeing back at a higher lvl? And what are the spawn times of the magicians?
Go thru the door next to bonecracker's. Make a left in the hall, then go to the door at the end. This is Trazdon's room. He spawns on the second corner going up the ramp (furthest corner from the door). You will pass one mage, then him. A mage also spawns as his PH.
If you are below level 35, you will have to break the room, then wait for him to spawn. No other way.
If you are over 35, just stroll on up to him and whack him. Nobody else will aggro you. If you are a caster, hit him with your best dd or dot first. If you are melee, the first few hits will hack thru his shield. He goes down fast after that. Hybrids have an easy time with him...DOT/DD, then smack him around a few times. He has dropped the circlet every time i have killed him...lucky i guess.
he is on a 18 min spawn like every other mob in najena and he is random ive seen him as many as 5 times in a row and he dropped the circlet 3 out of those five times i usualy help a newbie necro get one because it gives +4int wich isnt shabby for an easy kill like him
save the money for buying other things. If you can camp him then do it, everyoen wants abotu an extra 250pp in their pocket, or however much the greeves are.
Trazdon spawns in the "magicians lair". (#7 on EQ Atlas map). Tonight he spawned every 4th cycle of the magicians on the ramp platforms. He droped the dark circlet the second time, so it took about 2 hours. He's blue to me at 29, but goes down easy. He also casts Engulfing <SP> Darkness and Fear2. (I resisted, thankfully... The ramp surrounds an lava pit.)
I already have a full suit of crafted, but decided just to loot this thing for fun. It looks like a FBSS, is necro only, goes in the head slot, and is no drop. Stats were something like ac 4, -2 charisma +4 int and +10 HP, but i am not sure because after the guy let me loot this i went and put in the bank. Hope that helps.
is the dark circlet no drop, cause i have seen it on the internat saying that it is no draop, and that it isnt no drop, those who know. please tell. =)
If you are looking at the Ogre captain and the room where Officer Gush spawns is to your right then go down the hallway on your left. Trazdon spawns on the stairs through the door at the end of the hall. You have to clear a couple elementals and one or two mages in there also though.
To get to him, take the first right and the the first left, into a small brick wall. The entire back wall is a false wall, just walk though it and take a right. You'll see 3 doors, farthest left is bonecracker, next one over leads to Traz, and the right one leads to the Ogre Cap'n
Drops the Dark Circlet (AC 4, +4 int, +10 hp, -2 cha, necro only) which is used for one of the Crafted Armor quests. His placeholder is a magician but he spawns pretty often.
