Killed today with 100 ranger (T1 RoF raid geared, 6.7kaa, 8.8kac 106k hps)..fight took 103 secs..7.2 million hps at 69150 dps (using Bosque disc)..dropped 3 inspirations and (https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=49131) ..nothing else...FYI his G-flux/ summon cannot be resisted. He never hit me for more than 5-6k. Good luck!!! (he only grew in size once while I was fighting him, so I'm certain his DPS would've gotten significantly bigger over time, as previously mentioned in other posts)

Valik is located in an island in the northeastern corner of the Theater of Blood. He is permanently rooted and dispells all levitation buffs when he is engaged.
He hits for ~5000 to begin with; gains strength every 15-20 seconds while aggro'd.

I had wondered if memblur would allow Valik's dps to reset without his health. I tested this with a lvl 90 ranger using Blusterbolt and sadly not. The strategy fails to reset his dps when blustering whilst DPSing, blustering with a pause for agro to clearly be lost, and finally to bluster, wait for Valik to regain much of his health and the reagroing.

I out damaged everyone on my druid by loading full dots then chain nuking. at 50% i got summoned and quaded for 18K ish. thank god for second life...
This fellow also drops Aderirse Bur.

We got off to a slow start on him, on our first attempt.... needless to say after many ad dropped, and I got back up after the knockback, AET to the rescue ... for a whole whopping 2 seconds... First swinf 12788 damage, followed up with 8133 .... I'm assuming he gets stronger as the fight goes on? We had him down too 37% on the first try, but was wondering if it should be an all out burn at the beginning? Or does he get stronger as his HP drops?
