More often than not, these dudes drop nothing. Sat on the hill to the left of the ZI for CL. They ambled up every now and then. Finally got my page. Killed Bixies during the day for the Honeycombs and Wolves at night.

A level 44 Erudite Pally (now thats rare) was soloing undead in Kith during the night while I was waiting for it to turn to day, and he killed one of these. I didn't see it cast any magic. When he finished with it, I looked at the corpse and it had the torn page of Magi'kot 1. He obviously isn't a REAL animal since he was KOS to me in wolf form.

You are correct he is not a real animal. The are in actuality undead spirits that have taken on the form of wolves.

They are as real an animal you can find in a make-believe world.
E.g., you can use Sense Animal spell to locate them. From the WC zone at night time sense animal has always pointed me to the wolves.

I am gathering all of the things and having a smith combine them to make an Enchanted Koada'Dal Mithril Breastplate. I have 5 Swirling Mists (takes forever) and 5 Essence of Moonlight. I need 5 more of the Essences and I am too low to solo MM for them. I paid 40pp each for the 5 I got and am thinking about taking on the Dread Wolfs for them. Lvl 35 Bard with pretty good stuff, do you think I could solo one of these guys? Info on Hp and the Dmg they deal would be great. I don't think I could afford more Essence of Moonlight because I have to reserve 1kpp to buy the bricks of mithril. Any help is appreciated.

I can't believe I forgot to put this in my original post...
Anyone know how often the Essence of Moonlight drops off of these guys, they are frustratingly rare (someone used that before I kinda liked it) on the Vampires in MM, hoping I might have some better luck in Kithicor. Thanks again.

I'm a mage on FV. With that fing trivial loot code this will be almost impossible to get. Yes it is the epic, but it's the epic not the impossible.

Guys guys jeez are you so impatient? cant you just wiat till day or lose your level? im lvl 45 now so im getting my epic peice off these lil pups..they dont wanna drop it though....been killing for ages now....and i killed an undead foreman! or something like that anyway but i was always scared at newbie stage.....

P.s ALL things SEE INVIS but some of them dont actually attack you.

Ok, I take my 28 Ranger into Kith to train from the mighty Morin Shadowbane. It's 5pm. so I'm ok. Mostly green stuff in Kith. I finish training, turn to leave and go LD. I had trouble getting back online. Eventually had to restart computer. By the time I log back in, it is 9pm. game time. I'm thinking Uh oh. Well, I've been in Kith at night before and survived, so I figured I'd go out the door, swing around the back of the cabin to the north wall and head to wc zone.
I no sooner open the cabin door and two of these bad doggies are attacking. Loading, Please Wait...... I lost level and had to make a cr from Freeport. Now these have been added to my "hit list" and will get them later.

I was running though the Kith path to Commons late at night with invis versus undead on, thinking myself very clever... Zombie troopers and hordes of undead nasties were just marching by as I casually waltzed past them (level 17, by the way... >.<) Anyway, I'm getting real close to the commons zone line and BAM! 'A Dread Wolf bites YOU for 250 damage!' or something like that. I was all like 'wtf?' Then the next thing I see is 'loading, please wait...' I never even saw it, it chomped me twice and the screen switched to an overhead view of my corpse. I lost a level and had to wait till morning to do a corpse run, so my advice is if you wanna run through during night then stick to the wall because these little buggers'll bite ya in the **** when yer least expecting it :)

This baddie also drops essence of moonlight. If you ever get essence of moonlight on a drop NEVER destroy it or sell it to a vendor, as it is WAY valuable to high elf smiths; you can easily get 10-40 plat each depending on the level of the smith and how rich he is. I know I would gladly pay 15pp each, but that's only because I'm poor.

This nice little doggie drops stuff for the magi epic Quest. It is the Torn Page if Magi`kot pg.1 . You only can find this creature in the night.
