An odd thing: I killed five of these tonight, with a 48SK and 49SHM and mercenaries. Three of them, were the typical fights you read about here - lots of hitpoints, and an insane regen. Very long fights for level 48 characters. But two of the fights, just out of chance, I pulled the mobs quite a distance from their initial spawn points. These guys, they didn't seem to regen at all, and they went down in a couple minutes, like any other spider in the zone.
I had 5 of these on track. I assume you got to kill all of them to make the big named spawn. i haven't personally tried this.

Dropped one Lime for me today, also dropped a marsh algae. Based on a 3069 hit nuke dropping its health by 9%, these have apporximately 34k HP.

Upon the 5th Brood Drone kill I got a new message - "You've really stirred up the nest this time! Something's rumbling around deep in the jungle and it's furious!"

Tried to solo this Biznatch 2day, 67 SK 9k hps and 1900 ac (self buffs only) got her down to 16% and had to FD that shiznit. Has alot of HP's!!!

Solo'd one of these today trying to spawn the Broodqueen. Took me about 5 minutes to kill it as a lvl 74 cleric using Mark of matyr, ward, and vov with summoned hammer. It died and gave me the emote.. but could not find any other spawns. Do they show up in different places hidden amongst the swamp area? or do they take a certain time to spawn? Or am i just unlucky... Looking to solo and farm queen.. any info would help thanks.
First exploration into the broodlands today for 70 pal well equiped when I left game 1.5 years ago....found this 'named' killed all around it... conned light blue to me, and indif...all else around is scowl....so stunned it attacked and 20 mins later had it down to bout 90 percent....no 91...no 93....bah....rooted and logged and looked it up on alla and no loot so forgot it.....but important ....can be rooted, doesnt summon, and can be stunned....seems to have low mr....hope this helps a bit.../salute

Solo'd this little monster with my 71 ranger today, can confirm MASSIVE regen and hitpoints like a raid mob, was insane. 20 minutes to kill, dropped a spider venom sac.... only thing that spawned was another one nearby. Yuck.

Took a Shammy, Ranger and Cleric to kill this thing. Only thing that made the health go down was the cleric nuking lol
Dropped nothing. there was a yellow message saying there was rustling some distance away. unfortunately i went to do a MM before investigating, namely because i didnt know what to look for

Tried to kill one of these. Snared and rooted, no problem, but has a whole shiz pot full of hps. My DoTs hit and stuck no problem, but after I was down to 20 percent mana, he was still at 50 perc or above. I am level 68 druid with full mana regen equipment and had KEI. Will try again with tribute regen, but even that will be close. Got to get my revenge, and the loot is prolly crap, but gotta keep my street rep, ya know.
Will try to wear him down slower. Was hitting him with 4 DoTs and 2 no-mana DoTs as fast as I could hit him with them. Will cut back to two and two, with my most mana-efficient DoTs and see how much difference that makes. Wish me luck.

I was killing this and a Grelian Pactbinder, dark blue to 69. It casted bane of Nife and malo.
i think they spawn broodqueen i know shes triggered by killing somthing and this im guessing are what u kill to spawn her

This guy doesn't summon, and regened about 1k hp in a few ticks.

Every time you kill one of these you get a message that says something stirs ahead and sounds big. Nothing spawns though. I am guessing you have to kill them all, there are like 5 or more and then something spawns.
These are lvl 55 not 60 (con white to 55 shammy). They hit in the 300 range and have massive regen.
