Killed this guy last night with 12 people. Hits for in the high 800s summons he spawns behind the building where the Saryrn Key event is. Fight lasted abouot 3 minutes. Over all is pretty easy fight would be doable by 1 group
I think some things in the first post are a bit off, so i have to correct it, or atleast give you my point of view. First, Kaniz isn't permarooted, second, i wouldn't say he has THAT low hps, i did him with myself 65pal/vanazirs, 2 rogues 67/70/jagged timeforged blade and a cleric, so i assume that our dps have been much higher than Willins' group was and it still took us quite some time, and i may also add that he's slowable even without tash, one of our rogues slowed him via the good 'ol Willsapper.
"Had a charmed pet, one of the mobs near Kaniz, it hit for like 615 or something, so was nice hasted pet"
Would explain the added dps.(Chanters are your friend. Charmed dps > Rogue dps.) And yes, he was permarooted for us. (Unless they changed it since I last posted.). He never moved from his spot.
This guy is really easy. Did him with 1 pally, 1 cleric and 1 chanter. Had a druid there also, but he didn't do anything, was too lazy to switch screens to nuke or whatever. Had a charmed pet, one of the mobs near Kaniz, it hit for like 615 or something, so was nice hasted pet. Slowable with just tash. Hits for around 700. Pretty low amount of hps. The only thing that's even mildly tough about him is his AE. It's 1250dmg? I believe around there, and -55% atk speed. Cureable with RC1 (He fires it off like every 10-15 seconds so not really worth it to keep curing.). Pally isn't EP geared or anything, just some random PoP loots and VT gear with ornate. So nothing spectacular needed for him. Cleric, pally, chanter trio is probably the best and easist way to kill this guy. Also , you can hide from his AE. Just go on the sides of the walls by the building. Heals will still land on the pally as Kaniz is permarooted. So no summoning out of range.
Added - Pally is 68 , cleric and chanter were both 66, druid is 65.
