Looking for Sir Greg, do it the easy way. Go to the middle of your map along the trail. - Longest leg of Greg's walk is directly south from there up the mountain and over - He goes over the mountain and turns around shortly after the farm house that will be on your right as you travel south - As Greg heads north at the center of the path he walks half way up and turns around between two distinctive trees that are flat on the side you face going north (old models on trees) ***** /Locs, gimmie terrain any day!

Save yourself a lot of heartache and take a druid or a ranger with you to help you track this jerk. He walks fast. All you need is a full tank of mana and your tap spells..you can land a dot tap on him. Just keep tapping him til he dies. Not much else lands. Level 80 necro and pet took him down in a few minutes..with a cleric merc for healing. Good luck all.
This is the last Karana paladin I need to kill. Sor far, the hardest one was Sir Gerwin Thunderblade (NK), simply because he had a lot of hps and I ran really low on mana.
Kiting this guy isn't too bad either, aside from his even larger number of hps. To be mana-conservative, I was using splurt(resisted a couple times) and pyrocuror(landed about 75-80% of the time). I also tried Pyre of Mori a few times, but it only landed once or twice and I decided that the amount of mana (~560) is too huge to waste on resists. I got this guy down to about 60% and I was still fine on mana (60-65% with 10,700 mana), but I had that stupid gnome guard aggro (green to me at 71)...well, I figured I'd toss a couple dots on him and continue with what I was doing....wrong! He summoned me a couple times and hit decently hard (200-400 or so). Long story short, since my pet died early in the fight, I had to FD and I'll try the bloody paladin again tonight.
At one point Broon (cyclopse) joined in the fight and was beating on him, then finally gave up and came after me. Bit of a nusiance, but just pulled pet off pally and on to Broon. Was worried corpse would poof immediately after Broon engaged the pally, but it didn't, Maybe he was unable to hit him at all? In my experience, if another mob does dmg to your mob, your mob's corpse will poof upon death. Might be wrong, but better to avoid the north end of zone to be safe imo. I agree with Xislaben that he is the toughest of the three - more HP and he did healp himself twice, both times were the first and second time he got to 49% - Assume he ran out of mana from all the stuns he was hitting me with...:)
They Only "POOF" if the the NPC does more damage than you AND they get the killing blow. Have experienced this many times while hunting in OT; V`Deers and his men would aggro a mob I am killing so I would begin nuking and hold that last one until the mob was down to the death crawl.
correct coordinates for his pathing are n3060, n1590 and p184, n1070. It runs from center of Zone to SE coastal village. Drexxel's posted scrapbook link shows the wrong path for this Pally. ..
It took me 1 hour and 11 seconds to solo this guy, he has lots more hp then the other three.
I was stunned 90 times, resisted another 129, and he resisted 29 of my spells and I healed myself for 16,830 damage during the agro-kite. He took 96,884 of spell damage. Not sure how much damage my pet did, but I pull him off alot to keep him from being eaten.
On my first try I got too close to a war 2.0 epic mob which agroed in the south east. That was bad. On the second try I got him after an hour of kiting, running him around the edge of the river and taking very wide turns and generally avoiding any npc that looked like it might assist.
Bring friends for this fight, it's a slogfest solo.
Nota bene, he did not run at 5% like the other pallies (this assumption nearly killed me), but rather at 2%-ish, so if that's any indication they may run at some fixed HP number, and he has close to 5/2 as much hp as the other pallies, which seems about close to right.
Turned at 2% for me too where the others all turned at 5% - if you're at SoE speed, try running backwards - you'll see when they turn and if they get on pet or groupmates rahter than be all the way across the zone and see your pet die very fast :) Backwards at SoE speet you still go faster than him, but can see when he's far enough away and can stop and get a tick or 2 of med time in.
Not 100% sure of this location but he was in the SE quadrant of the zone. he walked a path that ran SW to NE. He does indeed have way more HP than the other 3 paladins. At least 3x.
