Just helped somebody this morning and found out that The Keeper was headshottable. I am level 95 with max ranks in HS, not sure at what level exactly it would work at.
Alright back with some more useable information. Several buddies and myself have been been doing our 1.5/2.0's recentley and I got a message about finishing up a monk's 1.5. Clearing a couple I forgot to log, we came down to having only The Keeper left to kill.
Our group consisted of an 80 monk (tanking), 72 monk (finishing epic), 75 cleric, 68 pally, 80 shammy, and myself, 75 mage. Heals were easily kept up by the cleric and the fight went noteably well up until the monk doing his epic went LD and was killed by rampages, ouch. Other than that incident, the fight itself was kind of a snoozefest really. Just keep everyone but the main tank behind him and an occassional group heal will be more than enough to keep everyone else alive.
I parsed The Keeper in at 914,168 HP and claimed him to have 900k. 11 minute fight which would mean (assuming 900k hp) he's regening 127 hp every 6 seconds, which is more than believable by me from a level 75 mob. His max hit was 1980, his minimum was 400, and he averaged out at 921. His overall dps was about 222.5 only hitting 17.4% of his attacks leading me to believe that avoidance is key to making this an easy fight. Only thing noteable about this was that his resists were incredibly high as I was only able to land a few spells the entire battle none of which were even close to max damage.
Quick look at all that blabbering
Min Hit - 400 Max Hit - 1980 Avg hit - 921 DPS - 222.5 HP - 900,000
His resists are incredible, so plan on this being a melee battle. Keep everyone but the main tank behind him. Remember, he is a monk.
Did this with 5 average Anguish level geared toons. 80 monk tanked, 77 monk (me), 80 cleric, 80 chanter, 80 necro. Cleric finished up on 50%. Monk tanked without ever looking like he was going to die. Took about 10 minutes.
Does anyone know when he respawns? I'm finally at the point of my epic where I kill this guy, and it's the FIRST time I've ever walked into Bloodfields and haven't seem him on the bridge.
Just did him with Pal, Rog, Mnk (me), Bst, Shm, Clr, Clr, Wiz, Wiz, Wiz, Dru, and Enc. Pally Anguish geared, everybody else Time+. Everything was going fine until around 20, tank got down to around 35 before healed, not a huge danger but hadn't gotten below 60 before that. Also seemed like Keeper's health was going down at a crawl. I'm guessing because wizzies + AEs = dps takes a dive.
Did this guy with 9 or 10 people, i forgot. Can be done with 6 im sure. Tank (18.5khp buffed)tanked easy even when he got stunned for something that seemed like 20 secs he still kept agro, and when spell slow landed we just used 20sec CH's. It never got dangerous. Tank was always above 50%. He had quiet a few hp's tho... Got boring in end :P
He is perma-rooted on the bridge, hits 2k MAX, but doesn't hit for max very often. Killed him with 15 people and 2 clerics and 2 shammies. Shammies didn't even bother curing the spell slow, just use spot heals and AAs for healing. This fight is easier than 7th Hammer
Killed this mob yesterday with a crew of 33; was prepared for the worst, but took him down without a single casualty. One nice tidbit learned: the 69 cleric spell Word of Vivification cures the AE effect, is a group target spell, and can be MBG'd. Not a bad expenditure of 2700 mana.
MGB is not limit'd to buffs only. You can MGB group spells, it's not uncommon for heals to be MGB during difficult battles. Port spells would be one of the things that cannot be MGB'd even though it is a group spell. Sadly SOE doesn't have the same sense of humor most wizards and druids do.
No, MGB (mass group buff) definitely only works with buff spells. You can MGB group heal-over-time, but you can't MGB cures or direct heals because they are not buffs.
Dropped him yesterday. His chest had Sickly Glowing Earring in it. Did him with 40 EP geared people. This was more than what seemingly was needed but it made it a flawless fight.
Had 5 healers + a shaman in the same group to keep Pureblood on them during the first 66% of the fight which worked well.
Had shaman and paladins spread around for keeping groups up. Used CH wheel for first 33%, CH wheel + MGB wheel for 2nd 33%, spam heals for last 33%.
Also had 4 Tanks + Bard + non-wheel Cleric in same group so the cleric cure himself, and group heal and spot heal the tanks as aggro shifted around due to stuns, switching tanks due to lost disc etc.
just killed this guy in the cazik thule server. his AE makes all casting time double. CAN BE CURED WITH 1 SHOT OF PUREBLOOD. the AE also hits those on his hatelist, its a new NPC targeting thingy, has like a trillion hit points and hit for 2k max. took 3 groups of time geared toonz 15 minutes to drop him. BTW the AE ramp can die
If your Wizard or Druid gets the Bloodfield port spells, this is where you land. Right in front of this guy, high up on the archway over the center of the zone.
The succor point is at the DS zone line, so it's pretty easy to get down that way or head to DS and beyond.
He's not kos to anyone. he also AE's at 65%. i don't know how hard the dot it. it lasts for 220mins. for casters it makes all your spells take twice as long to cast. aka: a clerics CH would take 20secs to cast, also does an 800dd AE, He hits for around 2000 and is slowable but with high resists. it took my enchanter 10 times to make it land. this is curable by Crusader's Touch(paladins) RGC dos NOT work we wiped on fist try so we just ran back and he was still at the % that we wiped at. dosnt seem to regen much at all/if any at all
When you exit the tunnel leading from Dranik's Scar take the ramp to the left and follow the wall around to the cliff face, through the tunnel and out onto the bridge. He stands in the center of the bridge overlooking the zone.
