For fun i decided to Solo this guy and see if i could get a buddy Rapier of Somber notes;
Getting there was pretty easy just whisperwinding through the doors.
The fight itself was one of the oddest solos i've probably ever done, took him down to 97% with nukes then re-medded full and got ready for some fun...once he started summoning i simply moonwalked/casted dots and took him down bit by bit while intermittenly lifetapping to keep myself up...didnt really time it but i spired twice through the fight so it was between 10-20 mins but he was a pretty big mana drain, ended with 7% mana and bloodmagic down even used a few mod rods.
No Rapier :(, Maybe nextime!
(3310 AA, 37000 hp/39500 mana and 4266 AC if anyones wondering)~

So. I have now downed him 6 times. Each time only needing a group. I have been trying to get the Dagger of Death from him. But it seems that one is more rare than the others.
Easy kill now, really just go in and Burn each mob. Take adds out after. Done deal.
Stinkin timers is what keeps me from killing him more. He got lucky with that one. Otherwise he would be dieing a lot more than he already is.

wild rampages started at 20% with an emote about entering blind rage and enraged at 9% on 5/4/08
One of my guild's wizzies was charmed by Yihst Vor a few weeks ago on a Tacvi clearing, and started nuking others in the raid. Fun stuff. =)

How big was raid group to take this guy down>
Zun'Muram Yihst Vor is the easiest of all encounters Tacvi has to offer. He got no tricks or special strat at all apart from the fact that he randomly charms people, which is more annoying than challenging.
He probably would be doable with about 35 people or less in a good raid setup.
Problem is that you'd have to defeat Pixtt Xxeric Kex and Pixtt Riel Tavas and the mastruq guards in the corridors first and these are no pushovers. So you won't be able to see him with a raid that small unless you cleared the mobs in front of the him the previous day and come back just for him.

Easy fight. Single Ramp, tough melee, fight down till 30 percent and then he begins to AE Ramp, but as of 8/8/2005, you could avoid his AE Ramp by just staying back some at max melee, no need to drop to arrows. ALthough if you do get a wee bit too close, expect to get hurt very badly ;)

It would be 70+ since I have personally experienced being charmed at this event at 70 as well as seen many others charmed at 70.

Perhaps it uses a different effect than what's listed. Can anyone provide the correct proc information?
Charms and Mezzes ignore PC level. I can mez a level 70 with my lowest level mez.

This fight is a joke--straight forward melee fight. Charms a few people. During event he emotes. At one point he goes into a blind rage (think it was like 30%) and AE ramps lol killed a lot of DPS at that point I backed away and unleased arrows. Pretty easy and decent lewtz

And just where is he, prolly take a huge raid force to take him down. Wonder how many hps he has, should just get like 80 wizards and blast the guy. I want that discordant dagger...looks so pretty to a 62 rog hehe
