As a Placeholder, do I need to shank him, in order for Malka to spawn? (Asking because I did not have to do it with the Brigand.)

(Posted this on the page for Krynta Darkdagger too, but this page probably has more traffic, given that the last post on Krynta was in 2003)

Went looking for Malka Rale on my rogue today to get my 1.0 started...As I was looking for her I spotted Krynta Darkdagger in the middle of a hall at approx. 695.64, -16.66, -80.84. She stood idle for a minute, and continued her path; I decided to follow her to see where she was going, since I was having trouble finding Malka myself... If you stay with her, she will lead you directly to the room where Malka Rale spawns (Malka was up when I got there). She will leave the room and back-track to where I found her and stand idle for a little bit, and then leads you to a dead end very close to that hall. I followed her again to confirm my coordinates and to double check that it was a set path, and, sure enough, from the dead end to the hall, and then arrived at Malka's room again (The second time, the courier was up).

Krynta's approx. stopping point coordinates again:
Dead end: 734.12, 106.31, -80.84
Hall: 695.64, -16.66, -80.84

Con'd dubiously to my rogue (55 Dark Elf - Innoruuk) without Hide.

A side note: She may attack mobs that she walks through past; we passed by several, but only attacked and fought one (it was a giant sewer rat)...In that same room were a fire beetle and a sewer rat; the fire-beatle was right on top the rat she killed, but did not fight it.
