Perhaps Sony was thinking when they made this area, you can agro Chavoor with a spell/stun and he comes alone, long as you dont hit the other mobs... not many groups can take 3 mobs (if all the mobs con yellow) unslowed, with a named that hits pretty hard... unless ya got some kickass bard/chanter... but then theres dealing with the named =) well anyways you can pull Chavoor and he wont agro the others. I suicide pulled while my group was down the hall to test it, gonna check it with Ikaav and a few other nameds tonight, I'll update as I get the information!
Hits harder than other nameds, Umbiki is easy compared to this guy. Enrage at 10%, no rampage or flurry.
His placeholder is the left pooka in that room with 5 of em...what i do when pulling is: lull the 64/65 and pull any of the yellow, if there is 2 or 3 coming i split using roots. They aint very fast, you couldnt to that with dogs or Nocs hehe
Common drop is greaves, the loop drops on roughly every 4th kill for us. Spell is rare but we got i think 2 so far. I never saw that amulet and think it should be removed, stats look silly too...
Quick question... We farm Vxed quite a bit, however have not stayed around long enough to see if Chavoor would respawn. Seems to be a set number everytime... kill 10 mobs and random named's will pop. Chavoor always being in that cove in the east. Would like to be able to kill respawn to see if he would spawn again, rather than having to start the expedition over each time to farm.
Also.. "Got to have a FD puller get the pookas unless u want 2 or more each time." This is not accurate. We pull Chavoor flawlessly everytime without a monk or bard. Best way to pull him is: Mez the closest spawn to you, which is the first visible mob in the cove. On a successful mez, the one directly to the right of him will agro... burn him down with pet. Have a root class root the one that comes when mez wheres off... burn that one down, then pull chavoor single. Works everytime.
I think it's actually a set amount of time not a set amount of mobs killed. Anyway after that set amount of time the named ph's pop..sometimes the named do pop right away as well. So if you kill the ph's of the named they will eventually pop. Best thing to do is read about where all the named can pop then just pull all the ph's to the entrance. My normal group is currently working on umbiki/chavoor/ukun. Get umbiki the most but once got chav to spawn three times in a row. Also on the chav pull none of the pooka's will assist, you don't even have to mez the one in the front when pulling chav. However when pulling the ph with no lull the pooka's on either side of the ph will come along with the closest one on the right. Pulling his ph can be a pain depending on what level the other three pooka's spawn at.
It's after a certain number of mobs killed, and I believe the number is 9. Yes, you can stick around and kill respawn, I have had him spawn 3 times back to back to back.
Have had him spawn as the front left Pooka in a Pooka room up the right path.
From the zone in go up the first stairs to the 4-way. Take the right path. Not too far up (probably need to kill 10-11 mobs) there is room to the right with 5 Pookas in it.
