Once in Singular Might trial, if you open the door past the 2 Mastruqs it or it's PH will be the Ixt on the right corner next to the Ukun. Everytime it's been up it's been in that spot, same with other name'd in this trial. If something is up, it will be in a certain spot depending on name'd. Uncommon to see it up, and waiting another hour for another trial isn't always fun. Seems to always drop ring or earring.
The nameds don't always spawn in front anymore. I have seen the various nameds spawn aroundthe second corner since the update. I haven't run across a tethered one yet.
With this morning's patch sony apparently made it so only named that for sure spawns is DD on trial of sing. might. Not sure if other named are random or not... but outa two goes only got DD each time.
How we deal with pets... Before you pull to fight here. have a rogue (we used a rogue, alot of things will work) pull her and nimble, wait till she pops pets, then just die. Let her reset, and when you pull her to kill her, boom... no pets during fight. Hope this helps

We have attempted this with a 65 warrior 9k or so buffed, a rogue, ranger, a druid and 2 clerics. We got him to 26% and would have won but the ranger's trueshot was down (due to her hitting the disc on accident before we engaged) or else we probably would be linking some nice gear right now.
Our strat was Rogue Riposte disc, 2 seconds before end, Ranger WS'd, rogue escaped, then warrior engaged for DPS, about 2 seconds before end of WS, warrior pelled ranger and AE taunted and disced, once he was getting hit, the clerics and druid spammed 3 second heals on the warrior. If trueshot was up, there's a pretty good chance this would have meant a win :). And I also think that the warrior's DI failed, but I can't be sure as my main chat window was spammed and there were no other healers using messages indicating a heal. Still, not bad for a guild that's only got like 5 full VT clears under their belt.
Oh yeah, and I had to heal the rogue before the pets despawned and overaggro'd only to find that they're WEAK. 300, miss, 350, miss, miss, 200. Only problem is they hit semi-fast and could pose a problem if the cleric forgot to HP buff themself.
how exactly yall dealing with the pets now? last night we had warrior ae taunt when first wave spawned and mage killed them with ae nukes but spawned even more right after that and they ran right for the cleric needless to say we didnt kill him any help would be appreciated
Mob seems to be somewhat broken, summoned 4-6 pets as soon as we aggro him, used to only do 2. After about 15 seconds the 4-6 pets despawn and immediately after, it summmons 4-6 more pets. Keeps summoning pets the whole time instead of just the 2 that went away after 15 seconds before. Makes it quite a bit harder to kill =/
the patch on wed. changed the ixt's pet summon spell (call of chaos). It's not just this mob, all mobs that cast that spell (ixt, that is goat, models all cast this spell). The old version was 2 pets that lasted 30 seconds with a few mins recast, the new version is like 4 pets that last 6 seconds with a 12 second recast. (The exact stats can be found if ya look the spell up on allakhazam or Lucy). But yes, it does make this girl more annoying to kill (though not much harder once yer used to it).
They fixed the FD pulling trick so now you have to IMMEDIATELY aggro the pixxt once the pets despawn or she can respawn them...not that the pets are really an issue considering if you have riposte/ws being used (which you must to get MoR/etc in) the pets will get mezzed by bard/ench before they do any dmg. key is just keeping the tank up. clerics zone out if tank dies, b/c CR=nono
Warrior riposted, druid FR debuffed, then 2 clerics and druid spam healed tank while wizard nuked and ranger trueshot disced. Dropped ring. Trick is to kill pets w/ riposte and stonewall immediately when riposte disc drops, also DI is a life saver here.

QUADS for 2400. Unslowable. Spawns 2 pets (dark blue to 65) on engage. 100Kish Hitpoints.
trick was before the spell got changed simply to deal with the pets. If yer a monk, ya could FD and wait (but then ya gotta relull and wait for pathing and such), if yer a bard, ya simply mez the pets til they poof, etc.
