Hehe yeah, its even worse since luclin came out, I've heard lvl 19 noobs saying centi short swords suck(12/25 5 str 5 sta ), because they could get long swords for 800pp. in the original EQ)
All magic items should be no drop, so people have to quest them or kill for them, not just stroll over to EC and use the money their lvl 60 buddy gave them to buy uber items, and then spend all their time complaining about how they want better stuff.[/rant]

It doesnt seem much better then leather armor, most of it. weight wise its nice... but shrugs...

you can tell the people that started playing eq after kunark came out. they dont know anything about the "old world" quests. i think people need to give the original game more credit..its almost sad to see items that where the pride and joy of eq get blown away by a commen kunark drop then see all the new kunark people mock it. =P

Most of you carebear people do not understand the value of this armor. On Rallos where there is constant PvP you cant wear any nice armor or you will get PKed and lose it. Casters jus dont wear armor but tanks need it. My pally wears the greaves and gloves. Works fine. Jus a thought all you PvPers.

They are camped because they are PH's for the shin lord =( notta single thing different dropped off the frog than any of the other ones we killed =(

Yes they drop SHIN greaves and gaunts, but they dont drop lambent armor, nothing does, but the SHIN stuff is used to quest the lambent

I was going into Guk with my halfling rogue to get my mask of deception when I came upon the corpse of this foe... I looted up and inspected the greaves and it said, under race, none other than: HUM HEF ELF HIE ERU DEF IKS I dunno how it got a mixup on there of being all races but i certainly couldnt use the greaves

you are wrong about at least part of your post. i know for a fact dwarfs can wear them cause my 30th dorfie cleric wears them

They drop both greaves and gauntlets. Neither is rare. Just pure luck if you are getting them. The Kunark frogs do not drop them. They have froglok of Kunark faction. In the Lambent quest text it says frogloc's of guk. They would have changed it for Kunark.

Do these guys drop both the shin greaves and the shin gauntlets? I thought it was just the gauntlets?

this lil guys is like beatting n a piece of steel unless u have a good nuker/debuffer in the party. Got good hp's for its level and hits better than average for a frog.
