Was killing guards to get heretic faction on my 61 shadowknight. This guy attacked me and was even con. I attacked him for a decent amount of time and only got him down 1% health. I left the zone.

The armor all requires Woven Spider Silk. I found that it is a medium rare drop and it only drops off the 'widow' variety spiders. It will drop off any of the widows though: the spiderlings, the large widows, and the giant widows (any with 'widow' in the name). It is fairly easy to kill every widow in Toxxulia and still not have enough silk to make all the gear and have other less useful creatures spawn and place-hold the spawning spots where new widows ought to be respawning into the zone. So... You will probably have to go to Greater Faydark to hunt more widows. And luckily there are tons of them. I found a particularly large quantity of them to the east of the entrance to Crushbone, specifically just east of the orc camp on that side.

Barodreth Firefingers in 2053s, 1993k @971dps --- Iksurmunky + pets 1993k @971dps (100%)
at 1k dps took me 34 minutes. this guy nearly has 2m hp!
all he dropped was fine silk
faction hits are as follows:

so i think the factions listed are wrong.

.. as the other newb quests are quite fun and a relaxing change of pace. Also can net you some decent items for your level is you are playing non-twink, (which I like to do).
Gathered all* the components needed for all the pieces in about 30-40 minutes.

*= The woven spider silk is a big pita. Killed all the creepy crawlies I could find for an hour. I got 2 so far =(. Might have to check out other places than Tox..

woven drops much more and easily in GF.. just kill any and all spiders between crushbone and 1st Lift of Kelethin... will get you all the woven spider silk you need

True. GFay is the place to be. There is barely enough woven spider silk in Tox to craft two pieces of the armor. (Unless you keep killing pretty much everything in the zone to get the widows to keep spawning. When I was hunting I kept killing just the widows and the more you do this the less there are to hunt because different things pop from the same spawn sites. I had the entire zone respawned at one point and there was not a widow to be found because I had filtered through them all.)

I have max faction with all the above and he is still ready to attack my iksar necro.
Since he gives out the newbie armor quests this must be a bug. He should be on Craftkeepers or at least High Counsil of Erudin.

Anyone Know what faction this guy is on? He cons dubiously to my erudite wizard and wont let him quest his noob stuff =(

My wizard is amiably to all three of the caster guilds...hes obviously on some other faction, since hes the only one that isn't amiably or indifferent.
