I think where he spawns is basically the places where high priest grumsalot can pop out of a mob

Camped this room and he spawned twice. First time....dropped TROLL PARTS!

Second time....NADA!

There are lesser mobs that drop decent stuff. Hell, the PH's drop caster sandals. I think SOE forgot about him, because his corpse doesn't rot at the regular interval. Did a series of spawns after I killed him, and he was still there with 8 mins on timer (for troll parts).

Oh well. He doesn't cast as much as the others in the room, either. But, he enrages at the end.

Spawned in the southernmost room of the blackguard area, just west of the temple zoneline to Gunthak. Con'ed yellow to two of our 57 folks, and dark blue to me at 59 so definately level 58. Not a particularly hard fight for a full group of 50's. Dropped nothing but some silver, the cheapskate!

Killed him once he dropped a blue diamond and when he died said something to the effect of my life for the stone. He does spawn in the room where they are chanting around a large stone so who knows. His placeholder is either of the cenobites in that room. The room is near the Gulf zone where the secret hall is. Good luck all and be safe out there!
