Clear Pheonix island. It will consist of 4 waves:
All Phoenix's
4 Phoenix Firesurgers
4 Phoenix Windsurgers (leave 1 if you are farming pheonix eggs, island will respawn in 15-30 minutes)
Melernil Faal`Armanna
Once this is down, the Avatar of Mist will spawn where the "an apparition of mist" is.
If "a flaring pheonix" is up, then phoenix island has been cleared and you have to wait 6 hours for respawn of the island.

No AE my left... arm... its there. Per Feb 3... its there.
Fought him tonight 11/23/05, not a single report of the AE going off as posted below, don't know if this is permanent or just 2 isolated occurrences

Actually no Bosses have a mem blur. Some of the lesser minis do tho, and not that many really. Like 2-3 in air and 2 in Earth. None in Fire and none in Water have mem blur.
So next time, check facts before you jump down someone else's throat.

Actually all 4 bosses of the rings in PoEartha have the mem blur(Gift of Hate) as well as the Mystical Arbitor of Earth has it as well. So check the facts, or raid there more...either or :)
