Mujaki is a triggered event. You face him by talking to Etumer in the Gargoyle City in the Plane of Nightmare. Follow his quest text and he will port four groups to a new area to face Mujaki.

Mujaki begins as untargetable. Near him, waves of mobs will begin to spawn usually 3 but sometimes 6 at a time. These mobs will approach Mujaki's platform and if they reach it become untargettable "a servant of Mujaki." Once 36 mobs have been either killed or joined Mujaki on the platform, you can target Mujaki and attempt to take him.

Starting the event

Just did a raid on him tonight. It being our first time to attempt him we didnt know much about how the event worked. When we got ported in we were still talking things over...we thought it would start the same way the hedge quest starts, but we found that the mobs start spawning pretty soon once you get ported in. So make sure that you port in when you are fully ready to run to the grave stones and start killing. Next time he is going down hehe

Questions
# Mar 25 2003 at 7:26 AM Rating: Default
For anyone that has done this event...

1-Roughly what kind of timer are the spawns on?

2-I have read that you can get from 3 to 6 spawns at a time. True or not?

3-Are the spawns mezzable? If so, what level chanter is needed with what spell for mezzing. If not, are they charmable?

I have only done this once and it was the first time I believe the quest was done on my server(Firiona Vie) so I tried to gather as much info as I could. From what I discovered, Mujaki stands with his back to a large building. Adjacent from his sides and in front of him there are large gravestones(3 total). When the spawning begins, either 1 or 2 undead servants(usually 2) come from each large gravestone and start walking towards Mujaki(which means a total of 6 can spawn at one point). I'm not sure what exactly triggers the spawning, whether it's just time from the moment you get ported in or if you have to step past a certain point near Mujaki. Once 36 undead servants gather around Mujaki he becomes targetable. The group of undead do not immediately aggro if everyone is standing outside the large dirt patch they're gathered on. Any undead left alive during the gathering process will aggro with Mujaki so it's a REALLY good idea to make sure they're all wiped out before they gather around him. This is as much as I know as I got killed quickly by the undead servants when testing the aggro range. Hope this helps.
I forgot

He also drops an FT1 item for wis casters. Only seen it drop once, but if my memory isn't to bad, it was a ring, with nice stats on top of the FT1 effect.

4 groups ?

Yikes, the raids I've gone to kill mujaki, have been telling us, only 3 groups can go in there. You have 3 spawn points out from the platform. Straight out from mujaki, and off to the left and right of him. Our very first try, we failed with 3 groups, because there was no info on this triggered event back then, and we let to many reach the platform, and found out the hard way, they could not be rooted. After that, it was easy. We had 3 groups, one at each spawn point, to keep them away from the platform.
You might get one at a time, or up to 3, back to back. Five people in each group killed one, while each group had a kiter, that did no damage to their mob, so they wouldn't get summoned and when the first mob was dead in their group, they brought it in.
You have to kill them fast, or you will have an extra, that needs kiting, or it gets through to the stage. After all 36 have spawned, you assign a kiter to each of the ones on the stage that got through, and the rest kill mujaki.
After he is dead, the kiters pull in the horsemen, to kill them. With 4 groups, this would be a cake walk. With only 3 groups, it can get exciting, your spawn point starts spittiing them out to fast, hehe.
Loot?

Very fun triggered event. Designed for 4 groups, but with proper strategy doable with less. We're planning a revisit to him soon, will post loot screenshots once we have em.
