Heya, just got into zone with both me main 70th monk and alt 68th shaman... was pullin garbage mobs when i decided it was time that i take a look around.... found this guys across the way via the left the side... walked monk over and seen him... /gu Welp i'ma gonna die i found a named.
was careful to bring me shaman over without aroging anyone casted FA and SotL on me monk, had monk take a hit off his heal potion to give me an edge..... took me 3 times to slow him and the SoB knocked me off the platform/cringe i was sure i was about to die in the pit when before i landed he summons me back....Sucker! got back and Whooped his **** just me and me little frog.. that 800aedd he casts kinda sucks as he took out me pet though he still went to his god crying

70 Shaman, 66 Warrior, 56 Shaman and 63 Druid. He casts the knockback for 100pts; sticks our Warrior to the wall; then death strikes him for a 20K critical blow - whammo...wipe. Where the heck was the post on THAT little tidbit of knowledge? He only yellow to 66 Warrior - waaaay under conned, becareful.

Since I found no help from the info posted I decided to suicide attack him and see what hes made of.
He does the the 800pt aoe very frequently, every5 maybe 6 seconds i think.
The 100pt aoe i saw once in the 20 seconds of combat befor i died.
Max he hit me for was just under 500, and he had sad hit points. My guess is about same as the kiteable diakus. And lastly he does indeed summon.
I hope this helps others that are lookin to get there stone. Safe huntin everyone.

This d00d sure seems like a lot of hassle for very little reward. I guess if you are doing the quest and need that Gem than you might want to go over and say hello...
Location? Directions on how to get there? Rare spawn? Always up?

Log in, up the stairs, he's on the opposite side of the pit. Think he's always up because, well, he always seems to be up ..

800 point PB AE seems to be not resistable.
Quick refresh, est. 12 secs.
Messages are "A Barbed arrow penetrates your armor. You have taken 800 points of damage."
"Target staggers back, an arrow protruding from their chest."
100 point Directional AE with knockback.
Messages are:
"You are knocked backward. You have taken 100 points of damage."
This effect dispells 1 buff.
Was partially slowable and could be crippled.
Dropped a blue diamond and some Smashed War Grubs.
Killed him with a 59 war, 65 war, cler, monk, enc, and mag on our second attempt.
