Secured Wooden Case is for part 2 of Bypass Hedge/TT flag quest from Kelletia in Caves (quest requires Saryrn flag). This quest starts with Veriok in the PoTranq infirmary, but is reported to be broken in this backflag quest guide. It certainly didn't work for my BST (the Saryrn preflag MOB in PoTranq doesn't recognize the flags obtained from this quest).
I hunt the spiders a lot and didnt think she spawned anymore. Was surprised to log in and see her there. She died fast to a 66 beast, 66 cleric and 62 sham.
Contrary to other posts, she never flurried and was fully slowable. Max hit was 656. The FD proc landed once when I let my fero drop, but with a MR of 323 I resisted it every time.
i tried soloing this a few times(back a while ago though), every time some add or something ends up happening, killing me. Going to give it another try as soon as i see it up.

65 Druid-65 Pally can duo her easy, imagine a Warrior can take place of pally if you dont have one, Pally just stain stun, 10 Sec stun is nice. Druid harmony the 2 spiders near the 2, and her 2 guards, then pull with snare. I usually pull her to the tree that is above the Big gators Cave entrance.
It needs to be increased significantly. I have all my ranger friends run to PoN several times a day to check if she is up and she never is. For a mob that you need for flag progression she sure is a pain to figure out when she will pop. I don't care if the drop rate on the sleeves is decreased, I just want a chance sometime this century to be able to kill her.
Have done this 7 times as a duo. 65 Enchanter and 65 Druid. It is easy once ya figure out how to do it :) Have looted 3 earrings and 5 sets of sleeves. Want a hint? grab a pet :)
No she spawns on the opposite side of the river. Follow the wall right from the zone across the small stream across the river and set up camp next to the single tree there near the shore. She spawns not far away up the shorelone which is where the Infernal/Fiendish Consorts spawn. Its much easier to camp here with no pathers than try to pull her to the dock where you will most likely get wraith adds or have to clear a dozen mobs just to get there.
Took this ho down last night. 65sk, 65cleric,65chanter, 65BL,65Mage, and 54 rogue. Fairly easy fight. Watch FD proc is all, we pulled her to the dock on water. Clear all the crocs and a few spiders in path and just have CH coming in on your tank when your puller/tank reaches group with the scary monster. dropped 8wis sleeves, 3 spider sacs (PoT flag), and crappy parchment. Do NOT let wraiths add, I found these cumbersome to fight while fighting other mobs because they just keep adding.
A group of 60+, 4 people only, to take her down. Warrior, Ranger, Enchanter, and Cleric. Low 60s. We almost did it too, was qwuite a battle but the pet broke mez and ruined it right after the Cleric died.
Speaking from experience, mage pet "procs" take a short time to cast so say you have an air pet that procs stun, it starts casting it, immediately (like within a half of a second) mezz lands, pet doesn't interrupt itself, proc lands, mezz breaks. The 50+ mage fire pets are the worst too, they are wizards and have significant casting times on their spells and WILL break a mezz more times than not.
Took her down last night on Innoruuk. Did it with two groups. Average level was 57. Main tank was a 61 warrior. She didn't spawn any spiders though at any point so this must vary. Like other post's, use harmony of nature and the pull is very easy. I didn't have an extended range item so I sneak along mtn. wall and seems to lessen the chance of aggro. She dropped 2 sleeves, 2 venom sacks and a eye. Have a good MT and a good healer(s) and the fight really isn't too bad. If warrior can't hold aggro she will shred through casters and other melee pretty quickly.
We killed her last night with one group. 62 War, Brd, Clr, Pal, 61 Rng, 59 Wiz. Was a fun fight, only a few minutes. She no longer spawns the baby spiders every 30 seconds.
Single pulling is not a problem at all here with Harmony of Nature, just make sure you have an extended range 2 or higher item before you try to harmony the 2 consorts.
I saw her flurry a few times, but without the little spiders spawning she is not that hard.
Killed her today. The pull is rather easy actually - you can proximity aggro the two consorts and feign split them (let them get far enough from spawn point, one will return to spawn point, bring the other). The matriarch did NOT add when I proximity aggroed the consorts, so we cleared the two consorts (30 min spawn timer on them) medded up and killed the matriarch. As others said, she spawns little spiders - mezzable.
The venom sacs she drops are supposedly part of a key quest that's not working atm.
She dropped 3 venom sacs, the sleeves, the ribbon choker, and an ethereal parchment.
Consorts are on a 50 min timer actually. They're pretty simple to split. Infernal Consort is a warrior. Fiendish Consort is an SK and doesnt rage, but likes to HT (1k), fear and DOT.
And the Sac quest works fine. You need Terror Matriarch Venom Sac, Netling Stinger (PON), Clockwork Poison (POI), and Bubonian Bile (POD). You also need good monster faction in PoJ. Hail around in PoTranquility til you get the quest started. Reward is flag to Torment.
TM herself spawns babies every 30 sec beginning when she takes damage first. They're not too hard to handle if you watch for them, but they're small and tend to go right for healer so easy to miss em. She's not slowable and enrages around 10%.
Only problematic thing about TM or Cons or Creepers is their proc... they proc a poison based effect that causes you to FD even if you're not normally capable. Sometimes this hits your MT so he loses all aggro and spider jumps to whoever is next on list. Watch for it since spiders are powerful enough to chew thru casters pretty quick.
She dropped Terror Matriarch Venom Sac. Was a no drop item. Was wondering if anyone knew what this is for? Also dropped earring and sleeves for us when we took her down. Any info on the venom sac would be helpful :)
pops between the 2 trees on the zoneline just above where the consorts spawn. And it's much bigger than the consorts, so hard to miss heh.
Took it down with 1 group, 65 paly, 65 ranger, 65 cleric, 61 shaman, 62 ranger(me), and 60+ chanter (not sure exact level, but had KEI heh).
Not slowable/snareable/rooteable.
Was hitting paly in the 700s.
It spawned 2 small spiders during the fight, about the same size as the hatchling 'trap' spiders in the area.
The cleric pretty much just chain CHed the paly (had 8000hp). The matriach didn't seem to have many hitpoints, the fight didn't last a whole lot longer than the fights against the consorts ( 2, maybe 3 minutes max).
I was awarded the Iron Scream Earring, as the rest of the group (all from the same guild except for me) had equal or better.
it isnt slowable ..and was hitting me really good. About every 30 seconds it would **** out another smaller spider.and then the enchanter would mezz it ...But anyways we ranged for 58th to 63 and heeh we killed it but it also killed almost all of us..but it dropped the arms and that ring..plus some no drop venom sack not sure what it was ..cuz the cleric battle ressed me while they where still fighting ..and didnt live long enough to check it out
This is how it went down to the best of my memory. He spawns on the other side of the ravine by 2 other spiders lvl 63. His buddies don't cast so that's a plus for ur puller. I pulled these back to the raid one at a time and w/o aego I almost died. The Matriarch doesn't have many HP and I never got touched by it to tell you how hard it hits for.. sorry. We had a paly DA and pull it due to the fact that it's extremely fast and would've ended me on the pull w/o aego or better. At around half life I would say at least 3 other spiders spawned.. btm at 61. None of these spiders including named had many HP. I was gonna use /disc inner, but it died before I knew it was even low health lol. We did this w/ an even 2 groups.. no 60+ cleric. And it was argued amongst the raid that this could have been done w/ only 1 group. Hope that helps some.
