Somebidy want to help a VS Beasty find his Halfling Brother to share this toy with!
Is this Ranger wearable yet?

The Belt had 17 charges when Shakey handed it to me. I just completed the quest last night on Cazic-Thule.
I cant confirm a Haste effect.
Some helpful quest info:
Cleet Miller (not jr) drops the hay after standing still in the fields. When he starts walking again the hay is there. The Hay is not "no drop".
Rorer is near the Rathe zone. Hail him but dont say ANYTHING. Just give him the 66 gold and hay.
The cursed hay is not "no drop"
The oil is from the second to last guy on the left in the N.Queynos palidin guild area. Say " I will deliver the flask." to get it. The oil IS NO DROP.
I had zero smithing skill so I did a shout in for a blacksmith and asked the guy to get the no drop oil, then I gave him the cursed hay and he did the combine right in N.Queynos.
The writhing Hay is NOT NO DROP. So he handed it back and i went to Rivervale.

After this morning's (April 9th)patch, the Belt is again wearable by halflings only again.
(At least this was the case on the Nameless Server)

I equipped 1 today on Ayonae Ro server. Must be fixed for Halflings every where )
After yesterday's patch, I had the misfortune to die to and Owlbear Fleshrender and 2 Sonic Wolf Battlehound adds. When I went to loot my corpse I found that I could no longer equip the belt. It now has Race: NONE. I petitioned and was told by GM Zelorixa on Firiona Vie, that it is no longer halfling usable on purpose. I pointed out that this is from a halfling quest and is a halfling only item. She then suggested that I post on everquestlive.com boards. So if you are wearing one 1) dont remove it and 2) dont die. =)

I just want to confirm that this belt has indeed become non-wearable as of the last time I checked it over the recent weekend.
Note: If you are reading this at some later time it may have been fixed or changed on some manner again.

I have sent both an in-game bug report and a message in the Quality Assurance/testing portion of the everquestlive.com boards.
It goes without saying that this item is not one I would have expected to see "nerfed" intentionally. I don't see it as one that is especially unbalancing and I'm not aware of any exploits which use it. Unless there is something weird going on in Rivervale I would expect to see this fixed at some point.

I did the quest for this a few months ago. I'm not exactly sure but the belt had more than 15 charges. I think it had about 50 but I'm not sure.

The 50 charged item you can get from the Shakey's stuffing quest is the Wee Harvester. It gives 50 charges of Summon Food and is a DRU only 2HB. The listing for the Wee Harvester shows an old version of it that was unlimited charges but rest assured that I just got one 10 mins ago and its only 50 charges now.

It's extremely minor, but I want to mention that the belt of the river has 5% haste attached to it. :)

No it doesnt, if it had haste it would have a effect of some sort of haste and it doesnt. It has a effect summon drink:)
