The respawn time on PHs 23m 50sec. So without luck yoy are looking at a long camp. I have had 2 fenzied spawn at once before, but neither dropped the sash.
WOW What a silly argument you all are having in this area . It is simply semantics, your all saying the same thing in two different ways lol.
I dont care how i get there all i know is my warrior has a cloak of flames 41% haste, weilds a horns of hsagra in one hand and a blackened alloy in the other, and hits like a blizzard.
If your melle you want haste, PERIOD , the more the better
no, items cannot stack for haste. the haste item with the greatest haste% takes precedence over any other haste items. stacking only works by stacking a single item, spell, and bard song, and the haste cap changes for each level. Look at this site for more info: Compendium of Haste Data
I am not sure. I transfered it from my 38 warrior to my 12 pally, and i thought i noticed an increase in attack rate, but i cant be sure. I guess the only way to tell is to keep it on him till i get him to lvl 20 and see if my attack rate increases.
This may sound like a silly question to some, but is the increase in attack worth the ac, stats and resists you have to sacrifice to use this? I now have a Chitinous Belt (AC: 13 Str: +5 Sta: +5 Wis: +5 Disease Resist: +10 Weight: 1). It just seems like a lot to give up for a little faster attack.
Stats are very nice to have, but so is more attacks. Having haste results in more attacks, which includes bash (if you use a 1 hander and shield). More attacks results in more damage, which means better aggro hold, and while I dont have an exact formula, I'm sure it results in at least 200 more damage by the end of a fight, and when you kill SO many monsters for an extra 200 damage each mob, it adds up to a LOT; I'd rather do that much extra than have a bit more ac str sta wis and resists. Then again, I'd rather get SCHW and use the chitinous belt too! =)
Correct. Haste is not a reduction in delay, but an increase in attack rate. To find the percentage of delay reduction, use (standard attack rate)/(hasted attack rate). Your standard attack rate is 100%. With the 21% on FBSS, your hasted attack rate is 121%. 100/121 = .8264. Your weapon's effective delay would be 82.64% of whatever its listed delay is. 21% haste = 17.36% lower delay.
Okay real fast, for you those of you that are slightly confused, or those that just want some more defined information on haste, haste %'s, item's with haste, stacking infromation, and haste spells and songs go to this website. It is by far the most comprhensive site on the subject that I have ever seen. It also includes information on how to find your new delay of a weapon after being hasted
Here's That Link: http://cloud.prohosting.com/~talone/HasteData.htm
Allright, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't increasing the ammount of weapon swings in a certain ammount of time the same as decreasing the delay of the weapon itself? For example, if I have a Lamentation with 19 delay, and I have Haste on me which makes the Lamentation swing more times per minute, in essence, doesn't that just mean that I have lowered the sword's delay? So while the Haste may not actually change your sword into a 9/15.7 weapon, that is the actual damage/delay ratio of your Lamentation while using the Haste providing by the FBSS. So...if you think damage is affected by Haste, you're correct, it is...but only because damage is affected by delay.
Yes, it's the same, but again people miscalculate haste by assuming 21% means a direct 21% decrease of delay which is completely wrong. For some strange reason there are some people out there who lack fundamental math basics to understand this.
50% Haste on a 20 Delay = 10 Delay = Completely Wrong
50% Haste on a 20 Delay = 13.3 Delay = Correct Haste
Haste has NO direct effect on delay. Haste increases your number of swings, and as a result lowers your delay accordingly. The formula to figure the new delay is: (Weapon Delay)*(100/(100+Haste)) or (Weapon Delay)/(1 + . Haste %)
So for the Lamentation example, the increase number of attacks with the FBSS is equivalent to a 15.7 with no haste. (19)*(100/100+21)) or (19)/(1.21)
EDIT: 15.7 as in delay if you can't fingure it out.
I'm just curious, did VI nerfed the Frenzy spawn rate by chance? In the past when I camped the Frenzy room, the Frenzy would spawn at least once or twice an hour. Granted that it may not always drop the FBSS, the Frenzy still spawned pretty frequently.
But recently, I've noticed that Frenzy spawn rate has gotten less frequent. For example, in one night, I camped the room for 5 hours straight and the Frenzy didn't spawn once. The next day, I camped it for 4 hours and the Frenzy spawned only twice with one of them having the FBSS. Are the rest of you finding this to be the same on your servers?
these are sweet hate makes a big diff. wehn your in battle, the change in attack speed is noticable, my guild leader 54 necro hangs out in lower guk and gets these to buy gear for the guild so i cant wait to get higher level and get on of em ) Evicksoul Lifesapper 23 Iksar Necromancer -Lanys T`vyl
