Posted: Jan 31 2001 at 2:22 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Pretty sure its insane...like 25dmg dd that has like no recast rate, which makes the bracer worth the 11k pp. I heard shamans can do more dmg with this bracer than some wizards can do. Correct me if I'm wrong =)

the spell does 263 damage and its a right click effect, long cast time though i would say around 6-7 seconds, no mana and instant recast so its nice ) there ya go
First of all its damn near impossible to get a trade for one of these bracers as anyone that may have one will almost always save it for thier guild mates. So let me tell you how I got my bracer.
Enter sebilis. Ask if 4rooms (6rooms if they doin emperor) are camped. You need to be lvl 53+ or they will prolly laugh in your face. Then talk to the person who responds and find out how long they been at it. If its greater than 5 hours you can probably just hang around and wait for them to leave and join a group that forms when they do. Hope noone moves there. You need a rogue and an enchanter in the group, preferrably high lvl for stuns on crypt guardians and roamer adds.
Basically group up here for quite a while (days) and hope for a hiero cloak or jbb each time. When I got jbb I was nice and asked to have it in exchange for giving up a few good items so everyone else would be happy. I gave up a trance stick and dw helm, but in my opinion this bracer is far more useful.
To sum it up on my 2nd day camping crypt in sebilis I got a hiero cloak (lucky on that one) then on third day I got a JBB. This is less time than it will take anyone else most likely as the JBB is the rarest drop from arch duke iatol. Common is club, 2nd common is snare whip, and last is JBB. If you come here and Iatol is up without a weapon, better start some begging and pleading or you will probably never get your JBB.

I am an Iksar shaman. Just cannot understand why Iksars cannot use this. Are there some items who has similar effect that an Iksar can use?

The reason iksars can not wear this is because plate. Not quite fair but thats the reason. I have not heard of any other item like this for Iksar.

this item, is what you should strive for. it is MUCH better than e-boots. it works at 45m and its a clickable effect. At 45, you can solo whites ( with slow and a pet ) with only useing about a bub of mana. At 52, i solo blues only useing the .5 bub for the slow spell, and with cano and regrowth, you can gain it back by the end of the fight!
