This states that it is a magic Item .. but... What is magic about it?
Lots of things in the game are marked as magic items without having anything else apparently special about them.
Magic weapons cannot be disarmed from a monster. They also allow you to hit monsters that can only be hit by magical attacks.
Magic boots all you to kick things that can only be hit by magic attacks.
Magic gloves allow you to punch things that can only be hit by magic attacks.
Some items are just tagged as magic, and it has no other particular benefit. Some items have enhancing stats and are not tagged as magic. Go figure.
