I just dinged level 53. I'm a halfling druid with 255 Wisdom and with KEI I have over 3000+ mana points. Even with that much wisdom and kei I still run out of mana on the disturbed elysians.
Just an FYI, this zone is pretty quiet now (even though it is considered an experience zone hot spot). The lowest level elysian is 53 (even con).
I've been able to take down 2 at a time using Winged Death, Drifting Death, ES Vambraces, Immolate, and Luminecent Staff (lightning strike clicky). Without the staff and vambraces I don't think I'd be able to solo these guys at level 53.

I have been hunting elysians for a couple of weeks now mostly solo and it has been everything from boring to edge of my seat exciting. I have to share this story and advice. Don't get over confident and try to take one down without kei, I tried and here's what happened. (I'm lvl 55 with 252 wisdom). To begin with this blue con would not stay rooted, he resisted root and broke root early on almost every cast. I started out just using winged death on him because it's the most efficient way to kill them. It didn't take long for me to realize that I had made a mistake, I was almost out of mana and he was still at about 20% health. By now I am cast drifting death, and then creeping crud and hoping to take him down slowly. When he is at 10% health I am completely oom then things start to happen, first my wolf form drops and I do not have enough mana to cast sow, then snare drops for the second time. My first thought was to just stand and die, but that would be too easy, so I am running back and forth with this fast elysian chasing me. I sit for a second and run, repeat, repeat, till I finally gain enough mana to snare him again, so I keep running back and forth and medding for a second or two till I have enought mana to root him again... relief at last. He doesn't break root this time. I med enough to cast sow on myself, and then finally I got enough mana to egress. I was lucky to survive, but I wish I had stayed to finish the fight, who knows, I might have won.
Lots of armor is left of corpses from groups who dont need,keep your /ooc unfiltered or you may miss chance for free gear.(like this)
Was there last Saturday. Was a kick in the head. The druid drops were amazing. We had 3 bracers, crown, legs, and not just 1 bp, but 2!! We plan on going back. Who knows. Might win the legs and complete my silver chain look, and retire the Kromrif Leggings I currently wear.
As to the nerfing of this, so what. Yea, it may have had higher stats at one time but I don't care. What I have makes me more than happy, and are welcome upgrades to what I had.

My guid decided to raid Umbral Plains last night...
When Items started dropping ,there was only 2 druids.
in the almost 4 hours were were there, we got 2 leggings, 3 bracers, 1 crown, 1 gloves, 0 boots, 0 BP...
So I am missing the crown and boots.
Wanna see how bad my rolls are...
2 druids rolling for items...
for first set of legs...she rolls 21 (of 1000); I roll 11.
for crown, she rolls 121....I roll 96.
for the spell Foilage that dropped, I roll 130, she rolls 661.
Couldnt get a roll to save my .....
I wound up getting the gloves, legs and a bracer by default....guess that is better than none.
But none of it seems that rare except the boots (never seen) and the BP...seen it drop off the FIRST kill!!! rolled a pitiful 442 to win over 221, 205. (I dont remember the last time I got over 500 on a roll)
I may practice it sometime... = )

Legs seem to be the most common drop out of all of the Eylisian Armor.
I'd say it goes kind of like this
Legs
then almost everything else (crown,bracelet,Vambracer,gloves,boots)
then BP
I have seen BP drop first kill thou... other druid got because he'd been at the camp longer thou

Actually i think boots and gloves are the most common. Had a pair of boots declay the other day and let a druid in zone loot a pair of gloves.
Got gloves, boots and crown myself. Was allowed to loot legs and arms from a nice fellow druid who didnt need em.

Arms seem to be the hardest to get these days. They are all I need atm, and I have killed more than 120 of these time-crunching bastages ... and it seems when I go there now, pretty much everyone fighting there needs them too.
I say time-crunching, because to solo with a full set of DoTs: Winged Death (143+ per tick with my Coldain Military Wristguards), Breath of Ro (92+ per tick with my Coldain Military Wristguards), Ro's Smoldering Disjunction (for the AC drop along with a 150 HP hit), Engorging Roots normally about 5-10 times, depending on roots breaking (hits for 178 at my level of 56), & a clicky Drones of Doom ... it can take almost 25-30 minutes to drop these stingy bastages [:rolly eyes:]

Most of the Elysian armor has been either nerfed or improved, the bracers have been severely nerfed with a pitiful AC of 8 and only gaining like 3 more dex and 1 more wisdom.
Still it's nice to wear when you are at a loss as to whether you need AC more than resists.

Stupid n00b question: What's this Recommended level of 50 tag I'm seeing on the Elysian gear? Wonder if it's wearable by lower than 50... (ie, 50th Druid wearing this dies, loses level, and can't get a rez.) *shrug* Anyone know what's going on with this?

From what other people have posted, anyone can wear an item w/ a recommended level on it, but the item's AC is lower if you use it below the recommended level.
A little bit of a late post, but in case others still have the same question ... not only the AC but the saves (Resist Magic & Poison on here) as well as Mana and such will all be next to nothing on a level one ... but a level one can still wear it.
I have some on my level 9 Drood atm, hehehe
I brought him to UP to collect anything that was going to rot (he is on my second account, and when I solo in UP with my now 56 Drood I see a few items rot that noone in the zone or my Guild needs, so no I am not one of the annoying people that just sit there hoping for some free twink armors for my low level toons!)
That sooo annoys me when a level 30 is standing there asking me if he can loot anything that drops when he cannot do anything to help bring him down ... why waste yer time waiting on something like this when you would be best off going to earn money, experience, or another droppable item??? /boggle
