heh a lot of casters actually have maxed ft which isnt hard to get, and also this is one of the better face masks pre-ep/pre vt. warriors,monks,rogues,and zerkers can use this mask to the same effect as ne one else can, its not wasted ft. Theres just the same reason as it has int AND wis, since if there was no int on it, all the wis casters would say it should go to a preist, and vise versa

Hey if you're uber enough that everone has FT Face items then I say Power to the people Melee's break out your dice. NBG sure but where does it end... well my example says here is an example.
Ok, I play a shaman.. there said it, now really the first person that should loot this item is (And dont get me wrong when I say this)... WHO EVER NEEDS IT THE MOST. If its a tank, they should get it, the FT is wasted, but hey, they needed it most. I would LOVE to have this item, and sitting on my FT 1 I would put up my bid.. but if I had FT 15.. ***** it, let the other ppl loot.
Is it just me, or do others get tired of reading the "This should go to this class first" threads? You may not believe me, but there is a reason its listed as ALL/ALL.

Well, as you said, whoever needs it the most... But I really doubt anyone who didn't make use of the FT would need it the most. ;)

No guild in their right mind would let a non-caster loot this thing. If they can't use the FT because they don't cast spells, then they don't use the +5% divination on it either.

NBG ideology frosts my rhubarb. This kind of item can be used for more than pure casters. Cleric and others first..ya right...as I hybrid class I have the need to increase my mana and hitpoints just like anybody else and getting an FT3 item is a bonus for ANY caster (pure OR hybrid). Sorry to disagree with all of you that think this should go to clerics first, but if I was on a raid for this my name would be going in on the roll. Defaulting mentality IMHO usually ends up in a select few getting the better items the majority of the time thus resulting in a few stong people in a guild. Build everyone up together and I think you have a better guild with a better chance at doing bigger and better things. Greed if you absolutely DON'T need something is one thing but need is a relative thing folks....

Ok to all you who disagree with me cause your not an Enchanter... lets ponder.. How many times have you had your chanter die and have the whole party whiped out becuase he was short 100hp or didnt have the mana to mezz a mob? I do know 100hp could have come in handy in a few deaths I have taken on, but the FT3 takes the cake on this mask. I say give it to the Chanters.

And talk about needing to have mana, BL's need it for every cast [#$%^$ SOE playing w/ my pet]. Even w/ KEI I drop to OOM on a regular basis. Not to mention the +13 WIS that will help heaps in snuffing out the fizzels. Ok flame away \casts prot Vs. fire, and waits for the smell of burnt fur.

I play a warrior, an Enchanter, a Shaman, and a Cleric and this item would be huge for any of them. Why do people insist on labeling stuff (This class, or that class) when its a nice item for just about ANY class?

Our guild gives FT items to clerics/wizards first, other casters second, and hybrids third. No hybrid in my guild would even accept this mask if offered to him over a guild caster. They'd wonder which officer flipped his lid and lost his sanity.

I play a shadowknight, and while i would LOVE to have this mask, i do think it should goto clerics first, then casters and then it should goto Sk's and then the other lesser hybrids =) (j/k on the lesser hybrids thing ... kinda =p)

ummmm yea, no one saw the INT on it also? i would have rather have a guildie cleric loot it first, then an int caster, then a hybrid if by some chance all thepure casters each have one =)

Posted: Nov 19 2002 at 6:08 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Yes this does have nice Int, it also has alot of other nice things. Cleric/Enchanter/Shaman should be top 3 and in that order followed by wiz/mage/dru then onto hybrids Pal/sk/rng/bst/bard and lastly to tanks monk/war.
Alright don't ge tme wrong or anything, but this item can benefit EVERY caster out there. Personally though, I'd be much happier to give my clerics a FT3 item than any other caster. Who else is gonna keep me alive while I'm trying to keep all the damage/dot casters out there alive by fighting the mobs with my blade? If the cleric stays full of mana then everyone will be happy and hopefully live to the end of the battle. Wouldn't mind it myself either, but I'm not greedy, just ambitious.

Nah, a great combo is Monk + Druid. With this, my druid partner would never need to med again. :P

Heh. You've never grouped with a Druid that has DC apparently. 60 Dru and I (60monk) can duo the ENTIRE outside of Ssra in the Grey. Druid has better heals, snare, ds, and can hate kite named if needed. Shammies are great also, just don't knock the druids that can solo some named dragons in WW with a DC pet. ;-p
Shaman don't need to dire charm to solo dragons in WW :p

It's not really a quest. You step into an area and all hell breaks loose... wave after wave of increasingly harder spawns. High end guild forces required.

Aye, this item requires 30+ level 57+ characters to have a chance to aquire. The mob that drops it has Vulak-like hp and hits hard plus death touches. I have seen one drop, though he often has a different item and/or bugged spawn = no show. It is from a possessed warmaster.

If so, I think this must be the best item in the game that drops from a 58 mob! Never been to the zone, so I'm assuming that the difficulty is in getting to him and/or in what's around to defend him.
