Borrowed this weapon from a friend. I hits like a truck 60-90 max with 236 str in the paws of my 51 bst. It also procs 3-5 times per battle ( trolls in Dulak )making it an extremely effective weapon. My prob is the 35k asking price typically on luclin. Oh well
Got one last week in bazaar, they are never for sale. Guy asked for a price check and no-one answered him I waited a few and then said that I am not sure what they are worth but I offerd him 5500 for it and he said ok. LOL It has a 75pt lifetap at higher levels and I will probably keep this with my epic haste when I get my epic. this thing proc's like crazy. Easily worth 30k.

The part that annoys me about your post is that youre such a manipulative liar. The thing that gives me some satisfaction is that you'll soon develop a reputation for it and it will make life harder.
I don't see the problem with this. I've many times sold things well under "Value" because I needed the $$. And other times I sold things for half thier worth.
I have also gotten deal like this before. I don't see the problem ... the player selling is getting pp for an item he can't or won't use ... and the buyer is getting a good deal on something he needs. I don't see a problem with this ... He also didn't lie to the guy and Say "It's worth 6k, but I'll give you 5.5k." Lying about it's worth. He just offered a value... and the seller accepted.
This isn't like the ripoff kings of Bazaar Casinos. (Yeah I know there are some good casinos ... but the majority of the time they don't pay the winner even when they deserve it.)
What can i be expected to pay for one of these, I was told 20k was a reasoalbe offer for one, but so far ive only seen them for 35k am i way off or is that they are rarely sold no one is really for sure what there worth.
All this monk discussion is interesting I suppose, for all it's technical detail if nothing else. However, when we take that pile of rocks down, I will be in the middle of the rolling, hoping to make this weapon a nice addition to my beastlord's ********

i dont see how its worth 65k, but it is still a very uber weapon. i was extremely lucky and found mine for 10k in bazaar, im guessing since they are rarely ever sold that the seller had no clue on PC. but this thing is incredible. monks could solo till about level 50, then we had to take the grouping bite in the ***** with this, i can solo again at level 55 with epic and some other nice gear/AAs . the reason why this helps soloing is because that proc is a 75 HP lifetap. that means when it procs, it does 75dd to the mob, and gives you 75 HPs. ive had this thing go off about 5 times in a fight, and even save my life once. also in grouping situations it makes us less of a mana drain on those clerics. great weapon. im sure it is just as great for beasties too, with the wis and mana. i couldnt recommend it more, if you see it for under 20k grab it! usually on sale for 40k or so (karana server) Baron Eamonn Foxfists, Master of the Celestial Fists

This is actually a very nice weapon for those who don't have primal/priceless or a similar weapon in their offhand. In offhand, the only thing that matters is ratio.
SoS/SoM > Epic. Epic ratio is 9/16 before click (1.77). SoS is 17/28 (1.64). SoM is 13/21 (1.61)
What about the GIU you ask? GIU is 16 28 (1.75). So, you would think that Epic offhand is better than GIU based on ratio right? Wrong.
Don't let the ratio fool you, the ratio is only 1.75, with reasonable dexterity (120+) the GIU will still proc an average of 1 x per minute. That adds 75 dpm or ~ 1 dps to the damage output, putting it on par with the SoS/SoM in offhand.
Second, the additional stats Own the SoS/SoM.
7 raw ac ~ 11 total 75 Raw hps 7 mr
And most importantly, the proc is a 75 pt lifetap/self-heal. What that means is you lifetap (essentially regen) ~ 7 hpts/tick on average due to the proc. This is more than double natural regen for humans, and a significant increase for lizards.
Third, the high and slow delay puts the aggro right along the lines of the SoS as opposed to the ultra fast Epic and speedy SoM. Now, I've been using this here and there and if you get a string of procs, you can get quite a bit of aggro... which is why you should FD periodically in the fight to lower your hate. Either way, if you get that string of procs, you're most likely getting quite a spiffy bunch of healing hehe ;)
Now, if you need to choose between this and a sos, I'd take this. Major Shielding stacks with crap all, so when you're soloing this will give you similar hpts, slightly worse ac, slightly worse MR, but lifetaps. If you're on a raid, this completely destroys the SoS as the effects don't interfere with raid buffs like Kragg/Focus.
Personally, I would shoot for both. Use a SoS until it procs, then swap this sucker in for fights while it's up. Major shielding has a helluva duration... so use em all together 8)
SoS proc + GIU = 150 hpts, ~ 25-30 net ac, ~ 30 MR, + lifetap. >)
So there is essentially no raw difference in damage output between the 2. The key word there is "raw"... Now add the stats and the "Proc" to using just bare fist and Epic and you can see that it is a no brainer.
(note: you need to know the dmg of the weapon and divide that by the delay to get damage per second... hence the RATIO of a wep. where you got that ratio is beyond spivy kenetics)
anyway, this is an excellent weapon for a Bst to use in thier primary slot, with thier Epic in secondary giving 41% Haste to add to Alcrity of 40%haste for a permanent 81% Haste, makes this approx a 16/21 weapon in the hands of a Bst....
If you have high Dex which most lvl 59+ Bst do because of self buffs....Im at 196 Dex fully (self)buffed, with good shaman buffs im pegged at 255 on Str/AGI/Dex. my current weapon usually procs on average 2-3 times a min at least and thats a "Minimum"....so i can only assume this would proc about the same... also a lifetap is virtually unresistable which is nice...so 150-225++Hp regen while fighting is rather nice...
Actually the proc rate is determined by a number of factors one of which seems to be the weapon itself. I dont know if you have parsed it but perhaps you have :). If it really works out to 1 proc per minute with 120 dex then I would say this weapon could quite easily outdamage an SoS and would be quite preferable considering the advantages of a lifetap proc during an AoE or extended fight.
The proc is a 75 point lifetap. The only time it does less than 75 points is when you are near full health. For example, if you have 1,950 out of 2000 hp, that means you are only 50 hp from your maximum. If this weapon procs, the proc only does 50 points of damage (or so the message says - who knows what actually happens in the game engine).
The 9/16 epic fist ratio is the ratio on an epic monk when the celestial tranquility haste effect is NOT on. The celestial tranquility haste effect applies equally to the monk's 9/16 fists and to whatever other weapon he might have. Comparing a hasted weapon to a non-hasted weapon is a bad idea in this instance since the haste would apply equally to both of them. This weapon has a ratio that is ever so slightly better than the epic. I use it in my off hand for this and for the stats and for that lovely proc.
The proc has no appreciable taunt value that I can see. I have been using it in many, many reasonably high level encounters (dragons, boss monsters, etc.) and very rarely do I have to FD to lose aggro. Usually I only FD in a fight as a precautionary measure where getting aggro means instant death. If it's a fight where I can survive 20 seconds or so tanking, I don't bother to FD unless I actually get aggro.
I don't recall ever seeing the proc get resisted, although I am sure that it is possible. Possibly I have had it resisted before and just didn't notice in the combat spam.
In a typical two minute solo xp fight, it might proc two to three times on average.
The proc does 75 dmg even if you have full life.. it will say so and so has taken 75 points of damage but you wont get a "you've been healed for ... points of damage" message. I have one on E'Ci.. decent weapon, but too slow for a monk.

I bet its worth 20kpp+. Plus the SoS is crap now. Monks and Beastlords go for the Baton of Royal Stature (11/22 1hb 60dd 6 sec Stun). It goes for about 7-8k and the SoS is worth about 4-5kpp now.
