There should be a quest at the Temple of Marr to repatriate these bracers from the big bad trolls who don't know the true meaning of the word.

I got this item about 8 months ago, but recently found it in one of my packs in the bank. I just love the name, and was worth the extra faction work I had to do to get myself back to where I started. I think the graphic for it should have them tie-dyed, but go figure.
C'Mon guys. Happy Love Bracers from the city dedicated to the God of Hate!?! Something like this should come from a more loving place or at least from a race aligned with Erollisi Marr.

Do you know how good this is for a 20+ SK? When you hit 20 its a 100% chance that the reagent for your spell is going to be null. In other words I wont need any bone chips when Iam 20 and it only weighs 4 pounds IMO is better then trying to hunt for bone chips all the time. Just wear when summoning your pet.

of the time, you will still need bc's.

I went and killed Ratraz myself and this is still Reagent Conservation I as of today.

Ok, dont mean to sound i know more than u knowish but i got this with my NEC off a troll in Neriak foriegn quarter that somebody killed. Pretty cool just wish it worked a little more often could really save some cash not having to buy spell components all the time.
BTW i also got a no drop troll head. Anyone know WTF this is for.

Killed Rat troll the other day so I could get my own happy love bracer. Just the novelty of the name alone made it worthwhile. I actually ended up killing Rat twice. Once to finish the quest for the helm, and a second time so I could keep the happy love bracers instead of turning them in. I should also say that my faction went way south with the Dark Bargainers. None of them would sell or buy from me after killing Rat twice. I ended up having to do the red wine quest in neriak to up my faction. Along with that, I had to have a friend invis me *after* entering into trade window with the guy in the library. Took over 64 stacks of red wine, but I now con ally to them, so all is well.

Oh c'mon! Who cares about what they can do? What about the novelty of being able to wear "Happy Love" anythings! They need to make a whole suit of this armor, so far as I'm concerned. I'd ROCK as the Happy Love DE Shadowknight!

I highly doubt that this would ever be changed to be Extended Range III. Think about it. There are no other items that are Focus III that are obtainable via quest or at Lvl 10.
More than likely, this item will forever remain Reagent Conservation I. Sorry to burst people's bubbles.
My only question is how and who would have submitted it as Extended Range III? The beginning letters are too far apart to be a pull down whoops, but that doesn't mean the index numbers are too far apart from each other in the dB.

When focus effects were first placed on items they screwed up, they looked like they were put on randomly. The next day they fixed it and made the focus more in tune to the item.

I'd wear em, if they really have extended range effect.
Correct focus item effect (as of 6/6/02) is Reagent Conservation I. At least till they patch again.

People would always want to trade for them just bcuz of the graphic (green plate) when i was lv 3 or so i saw this dark elf necro soloin some troll at lv 13. I then stood by his corpse and looted these. (i had no use for his head)

Posted: Aug 24 2001 at 6:49 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) this quest is a stupid waste of time. even if the gay freaking bracer has a funny name why would you want it taking up inventory space, and the helm doesn't look all that cool anyways (that would be the only reason to get it cuz the ac sux and who gives flying **** about the stat bonus when by the level you could get it you should be able to get a better one?). this quest isn't worth doing at all, not for a twink and definatly not for your main.

All my level 17 ranger has is a siver braclet, NO STATS. This +1 AC boost is exactly what i need! Can someone help me get this. This has to be the most awesome bracer i have ever seen! And they have a Great Name to Boot, do they show up pink? Just a thought =) oh btw everything i said before the =) is a LIE! ROFLMAO! I HAVE GOTS TO GETS ME ONE OF DESE!

seriously, who WOULDN'T wear somthing called the happy love bracers, thats freakin hillarios, i wish i had a pair too!!!
First, these drop off of Ratraz in Neriak 3rd Gate, second they are Lore....meaning can only have 1. I have a 54 Halfling Druid, that i have wearing this item...LOL, when a PKer is around, i bag up my stuff except for this wonderful bracer as an insult (Pkers are not happy nor loved)

bah... some of you guys take yourselves too seriously. its for a quest.. and i looked these up because i thought it wouuld be cool to have bracers called "happy love"... call me a fool but i think its funny, and if you cant take something as small as that as a joke then you shouldnt be playing a game were you interact with so many people. and like that guy said, they are USED IN A QUEST... how many quest items do you see that have good enough stats taht you actually want to wear them? the idea is to turn them in for somehtng better so you DONT have to wear them. *sigh*
