Got two in one night, one off of a Scarlet Cheetah Huntress, and another off of a Scarlet Cheetah Gatherer
got this from a regular scarlet cheetah near twilight
you got this item also from "a scarlet cheetah gatherer", but in the Targetwindow you only see "a scarlet cheetah g"

I got mine tonight off a Scarlet Cheetah Gatherer, which wandered close to my hunting spot near the zone to Twilight Sea. After reading several other posts, apparently this drops off various cheetah. This particular cheetah was dark blue to 51, and it hit me for a maximum of 99 HPs but not too often. By the way, these Scarlet Cheetah look really detailed; they're one of my favorite creatures to look at.

Killed one Scarlet Matriarch got one paw..Killed many, many, regular cheetahs got zero paws =( you do the math!

My group has been in the Scarlet Desert for two days now. We picked up two of these yesterday, and hope for more today :)
I see this as a very nice upgrade for my Chanter range item. Sure it isn't uber, but seeing as it has teh same INT as a Sarnak Dagger, PLUS some Mana, PLUS some CHA, PLUS some HP, PLUS 0 weight, this is a no brainer upgrade for me since I should be able to obtain it relatively easy. I'm a fan =)

This item also fits in the neck slot which isnt listed in the post about it though it is seen in the screenshot.
I hang out with a group of peeps that camp this desert regularly (great, fast and pretty safe XP) and this fetish has dropped several times in the last couple of weeks and many guildies, including myself, are now proud owners.
Another similar item with slightly different stats is the Sun Chalice, which drops fairly regularly as well .

I've gotten one off a Scarlet Cheetah Huntress, a Scarlet Cheetah Gatherer, a Scarlet Cheetah Patriarch and a Scarlet Cheetah Matriarch. Yes, I've gotten 4 of them, and I am not even a tracker!

Someone sold this thing to me for 35pp. Someone else has offered my 700pp for it :) It sure beats my small wisdom deity. Great range item for the mid-level Druid.

hehe, I think most all of you guys are missing the point. It doesn't have to be better than another item. Verant is just adding a lil flavor to the game by introducing new items. If you like your Blackened ALLOY medalilion that gives +5int/wis by all means use it. This is just another piece that somepeople will use and some people won't. Look at it as the joy of discovering.

Amen to that! I think we all get a little cought up in the game to make ourselves better and better, and while that is enjoyable i think you have the right idea here. Finally, someone sees what is going on =)

Personally, it would be quicker to do the first three steps of the Coldain prayer shawl quest.
This is NOT common. The cheetah matriach is a rare spawn. I've spent over a two weeks in the zone and saw it spawn once.

Or if your looking for something else you can buy (instead of spending alot of time collecting various giant parts and coldain treats), you might try a Medicine Totem from Frontier Mountains. No charisma, no HP or Mana. But +5 wis, +5 int, +5 ac is hard to ignore!

This item can be stored in the range slot. Better than a BI medallion.
This is not much better than a Black Iron Medallion from Runnyeye, I might pay 50pp for one absolute tops if I can't find soemthing ebtter for nexk, jsut for the slight CHA bonus, 10 hp 10 mana is not much
You are missing the point. Neck slot... whatever. Fits secondary, prob not terribly useful there, but most important this is a RANGED slot item, most my guys have a splitpaw eye still, LMAO this wood be a nice addition.
