check out the Acrylia tailored items. they are low wt. AND higher AC. it seems better for both monk AND bst. with wt/AC bonus, monk would have to be higher lvl, but the sleeves are:
AC: +9 Str: +5 Sta: +5 Wis: +2 Weight: 0.4
Classes: Warrior Rogue Monk Bard Shadowknight Paladin Cleric Druid Shaman Ranger Beastlord Races: Human Half Elf High Elf Wood Elf Erudite Barbarian Dark Elf Iksar Vah Shir
hehe kinda wild when tailors can make better than planar with substances found on the moon. im not surw how common the needed tailoring items are though.
It's a lot easier than velious tailoring, and the expsense of luclin tailoring is pretty much nothing by comparison.
It only takes two dropped components, the hide and the acrylia for studs/boning. The tannin is low trivial and the ingredients are sold at vendors. In the best places for pelts they appear to be dropping at a rate of 1 in 4-5 kills. The acrylia seems to be the hard part at this point.
I'm impressed that someone at Verant can spell 'bestial' correctly, if only they would fix the 'beastial' that crops up whenever I summon my warder.
There are two types of people who use the spelling 'beastial', those who don't own dictionaries, and those who use their dictionaries to keep their couch level :)
If you look at the monk arms from PoG, you'll see that they compare quite well. I think that beastlords will gain the same kind of AC bonuses that monks do at higher levels. Not to the same extreem, but similar.
Silver Moon Arm Wraps +7 AC +4 Str +2 Sta +4 Dex +1 vsMg +1 vsFire +1 vsCold +1 vsPos +1 vsDis +35 HP +0.10 Wt
Kinda odd quality BST item coming from the PoG. Been noticing this a lot lately. Seems lot of the high end BST gear, especially amour, isnt all that high end. =/
