The queen is immune to any fear based spell by the way ( that hurts if you are a necro ) was light blue to me at 53, but whacked her with every dot I had up, plus a pet. She is not light on the hit points for sure.
She is non-agro, and seems to be a timed spawn of some kind. Killing the roaming beetles from the cave (tunnel) has no effect ( and saw one spawn under her before I attacked, so that is NOT the PH for her).
The suggestion about the level and groupage is strongly suggested if you try and take her. The most I saw her hit for was 114, but that is 3 attacks plus a bash so she can hurt you fast.
Runs at sow speed (or spirit of eagle, since that is what I had on). She seemed to resist poison more than other dot's.
Dropped the eye for me, seems that is the common of the 2 drops from the posts I have read.

Took rather long to whack her with Fizzt, my 50 monk, but she hits very softly. I got less than 2 bubs of damage each time, and didn't need to mend even. Good idea to whop her if your passing through, since range items with stats are rather far between. These sell for around 300pp, but really not that good imho. Better as gifts.... nobody needs it, and many will appreciate it. One of my favourite little presents for those up and coming guildies.

Queen hits 114 max and has alot of hp for her level (I kill Hill Giants much quicker than I killed Queen and they're light blue just like she was)
Can't add much info on placeholder/spawn-time, but she does spawn in cave right at the zone Mons Letalis and is indifferent...no faction for the beetles.
Wish I knew if the eye was the rare or common drop. Either way, I was happy to see the eye drop as my druid friend needs some kind of range item with stats. It looks like a GBS when equipped, the pulsating red orb-thingy around your fist.

Correction:
I just killed her on Bertoxx an hour ago. L37 pally with AC 788. She was nailing me for 152-160. Certainly, higher level players will take less damage.
I fully recommend a group if you are under level 42 or so. I only survived by a rash of freakish luck.

the queen spawns in the tunnel that leads to mons letalis(sp?). you can find this tunnel by turning right after zoning into marus seru from netherbian lair.

I've heard someone in OOC say that this was dropped by Queen so and so, I believe Queen Kvaknak. he said she was somewhere North of the zone from Netherbian Lair, near a different zone, the name of which I do not recall.
