On items that SUCK there should be No Fail on the combines. Why waste all your time when you can just go to the bazaar. Now sure one might want to quest for the fun of questing like myself but on an item that SUCKs there should be a No Fail on those combines. Failed combines are not fun. anyways thats my opinion on this quest.

I have searched every building... No one in the zone knows where to find him or what area of the zone he's in.. If someone can tell me his loc or the area in which he is in it would be greatly appreciated.

For the simple reason that this quest was designed to start at level 1 and continue indefinitely; This is a useless item at level 17 granted. But most people will be getting it at level 2 or 3, unless they put off starting the quest until level 10 or more.
Plus, all you need to do to upgrade this first claw is to hand them both, with the initiate cloak, to Animist Poren. People typically only have this particular claw for about 3 to 5 minutes before upgrading.
Claiming a newbie quest item is useless at 17 is a no-brainer. But don't forget that it IS a newbie quest item, and that there are later quests to upgrade it that are NOT newbie quests.

Not to mention making us hold on to this crappy weapon that long...you'd think it would be A LOT better..something you'd say "I can't wait" instead of throwing it in your bank and forgetting about it after getting some "Fist of _____" item somewhere between that's 10x better....just my 2cp
