22 bonus dmg at lvl 55
# Jan 25 2003 at 8:17 PM Rating: Default
My bard looted one of these

DMG 9 Bonus dmg: 22
DLY 36

Seems like it would be a pretty nice weapon if my bard could actually use it.

dmg 31 dly 36? Wow

Um, damage 9, delay 36. You can't add the damage bonus to the base damage and include it in the ratio if you want an accurate assessment.

You can buy weapons with a damage > 20 with a comparable delay for a couple of hundred platinum tops, and since the damage bonus is based on the delay of the weapon (modified for the wielder's level), that makes this a total piece of garbage.
level 40 hehe

/sigh, damage bonus varies depending on level. obviously this was held by a person much lower level than you when they took the screenshot.

Excrutiatingly average, and not magic, too. Kinda lame for a level 40 area.

Oh well, looks like merchant fodder to me.

Since when is ME a level 40 area? Zone in pull a mob... you'll die in seconds.

Maybe not 40, but mid 40's is fine for a druid. Have to be careful, not get trained and all. But I started popping in here at level 46 and frequent it now at level 47. I first came at Level 45, and was able to solo the gorangas, but was too risky at 45 for my taste.

They do hit hard, fast, and stun. So generally if you're a class that can keep things from hitting you and still do damage, you'll do well with the Gorangas. At 45 I was getting moderate rists, at 47 I get only a few resists. DOT duration seems a lot more variable.
