Tried this out in Hate yesterday. With Visions of Granduer and this I actually took aggro a few times just from beating on the mob. Mostly I just smacked them senseless tho. When somebody else is tanking this is great.

they drop really common, 3 axe in 15 min, one dropped of a Umbrous Toiler :)

With Shissar and Bard Battlecry..244 str..had hits for mostly around 170's..had a cric of 200+..never got a chance to crippling..and aslo my 2hs skill is only at like 140..

I can verify that these ancient looking stone axes drop off Umbrous Toilers in the Maidens eye. We had two of these drop within the space of 4 hours along with various Centi weapons. They range from level 46 - 49 or so and group agro. They can be found by running directly from the entrance for the zone and hanging a left before you hit the zone wall. They do not see past Invis so it is safe to invis past these mobs. If done correctly you should only have around 1 - 2 mobs per pull as they wander. ( These guys drop nearly no plat )

I have seen this item drop so much in my short time in ME. They seem to come off of everything we have killed so far except them robe mobs. I have seen them drop off the aliens and off then red monkeys. My guild has a nice amount of these. But our warriors love the Ceni long swords better. 14 25 8str 8sta is sweet. I use this when fighting non casting mobs then switch to much wurmslayer. Yes I said wurmslayer. But with 106sta, Cloak of Crystaline Waters = 36% haste and our new 25% haste self buff I do nice amounts of damage either way. But with the axe as we like to call it, I do around 200 damage. Our warriors do over 200 easy. Good luck in getting these. Laters

this is a great wep for secondary dmg , woudn't want to be main tank with it , but with a bard or chanter haste spell and haste item you could do some great dmg with this, its still no tantors tusk (largest crit 1020 fully buffed that is) but would be a nice wepon if hasted , or to have equiped if your a war and can use repose disc at 56

I got a 423 crippling blow with this bad ****.

Got one yesterday. My new fun toy for backup "dont agro me" raid dmg.

51 dly sucks, but with shishar +haste gear I hit at a reasonable rate. Best hit so far around 240.

Yes the moonmen drop it, they're not that hard - Just be cautious of the Xi Vius type mobs coming by. Chealers eat it.

Got one earlier today. The item has good dmg, easy to get a triple 200+ for dmg output of 600pts. However.... the best part about this item is that ( I am an SK) when I am not main tanking and using a shield... this item is great dmg output, and 1.5 wt means that you can swing it all day and not get tired, which is important for xp grinding in places like velks and Fungus Grove where you will not stop pulling for even a minute. Keep in mind that +25 str adds 25 to your atk rating, and that is also important.

P.S. Came of an umbral toiler or whatever they are called, the little black aliens, and they will not equip it so you wont know they have it. And it does look like a stone axe blade fixed onto a long wooden handle.

Ok it looks like guild will be camping in this zone...Alot of nice stuff droppes in this zone..I mean 25 str? WOW well good hunting and safe journey to all.

what lvl are the Grogans

A friend got this last night. Damn thing looks like a pre-historic stone headed axe with a 6 foot hilt. I think it drops off the little alien looking dudes that make the funky noises when ya beat em.
