In the last 2 months i killed a VERY large amount of toilers and I can guarantee that or this is extremely rare or that it just dont drop off toilers.

anyone know just how rare this item is. i'll be camping this jerk for a few days i'm guessing, for the VT key part, i'm hopeing to get this weapon as well. with PoP eye patch and SoV this weapon would rock that @$$.

i know this probably isnt the best place to post this question, but how does the dmg bonus on ne weapon work. Firt i heard it was add to the atk EX. SoG is a 41/51 w/ a dmg bonus of 42 so with this mehtod it would = a 83/51. But I have also heard that its a 41/51 and the dmg bonus is added to the amount u hit for EX. I hit a mob for 110 w/ dmg bonus it would equal 110+42=152 which is correct if neither are please put correct method.BTW had a chance at 39 to loot but didnt get it to slow. but wish me luck ill try again.

From what I heard, damage is calculated something like this:
(RAND * WeaponDamage * (Str + Weapon Skill + Offense)/100) + Dmg Bonus.
RAND is a random number between 0 and 1. The formula is not exact, but a decent guide. So, increasing your Str by 100 points would increase your damage with this weapon by 41 extra points.
As for how often you swing, it will be once (or twice with double attack) every:
WeaponDelay/(10*(1 + Haste)) seconds.

My sk ogre got a 2pt str/attack damage bonus on lvl 4 /roar and a 46pt str/attack bonus on lvl 22.. hitting for 106+ on lvl 22 is 25% of the mobs hps :D .. poor pk ranger never knew what hit him..

When you ding 28 you gain your first dmg bonus. the calcul are : Dmg bonus= (level-25)/3
The 2H you have the level dmg bonus AND a dmg bonus for the weapon's delay.

Gaaa...I have never seen SOG drop in ME..i'm always there either soloing the monkeys our with a small grp over by AK or toiler hill.. I have seen most all other drops in ME and also have some but the SOG...well..i guess i'm S.O.L

I got this at 40, came here with my 60 Necro friend and farmed for 6 hours with no luck. He had to go summon corpses out of Griegs End =( And some group runs in and 20 mins later I see "Some_Uber_guy Shouts: SoG rotting on toiler hill!" and I scattered there, looted and ran back (ran back without invis and musta aggrod 60 toilers... a few gorangas and 2 SK thinys, HT x2 for 800, surprised I lived

Drops of battlemaster saw it about 1 month ago
The axe didnt get nerfed itself the stats are still the same. The battle of course is in ME and spawns near a rock close to the AK zone.

In a lower post it says there is a battlemaster guy what zone and where is this mob? and what are stats of nerfed Strength of Gordon?
I spent about 8 hours trying to get good drops in ME yesterday. The Goranga Idol and the spiked club dropped like crazy, but that is all. I was told in /ooc that this sword no longer drops in ME and now drops in Akheva Ruins. Any info?
Got it tonight 9/18/02 off battlmaster guy. Wanted the damn pauldrons but this was a nice suprise too.

Dropped on Quellious off ME Battlemaster 2/13/4, so yes, it still drops.

Hey guys, umm no that they are nerfed im having trouble getting one,last night I was offering 400pp I loot one and that didn't work, so im thinking of offering my Defiance to loot one. give me your opinion on my Idea, and it will help me decide if I should do it or not. THANKS!

Dont trade Defiance for this axe. Its nice, but not worth 9k. Just sit around, and get a group, and eventually you will see this in shout or OOC,' Str of Grodan rotting at this Loc........' Thats how i got mine, And yes, i love it. Crip'd for 498 with it ;)

i got this weapon at lvl 33 because it was rotting. I outdamaged a lvl 51 warrior with this baby....although the warrior was very very poorly equiped.

When luclin first came out these SOGs were rotting all over the place. Now they are no where to be found. I have killed probobly 200 toilers in April and I have not seen one drop or seen a tell saying that an SOG is rotting. If it still drops off of toilers it is rarer than the charcoal that i have seen 5 times, but still haven't won the roll for. Also if you are going to come to ME i would recomend bringing a grp. Usually when kc is over crowded I drag mine here.

Seems to be that verant is gonna freaking nerf this thing out the butt because everyone is getting one... They nerf everything like that to where just when someone was going to get one they are nerfed... If anyone knows exactly what drops this now and where send me a tell on the Tribunal Server please...

I read below that it no longer drops off a toiler, but off a "battlemaster". Whats the deal? If anyone has gotten one recently, please say where and when you got it and from what.
I'd love to do whatever it takes to get this blade, but I don't wanna camp something that won't ever drop it.

Bummer it moved to a different mob. This is one Sweet weapon. I was lucky to get one at level 32 (with much help) and its the only weapon I use.

You're so going to hate hearing this, but I found out what drops the Strength of Grodan now. I just completed camping the Battlemaster for 2 1/2 weeks to get the slighted pauldrons and finally got them tonight.
Well, here's the bad news. Verant took the 9/20 warhammer he used to drop and replaced it with the Strength of Grodan as his common drop now. They did this 2 patches ago from what I can tell. And no, you can't tell when he has the pauldrons or when he has the axe. The axe doesn't show up when he has it. And the other bad news, in 2 1/2 weeks of camping the BM, I can honestly say I saw him less than 10 times of camping him roughly 8 hours a day on average (most of it weekends and yes, I sacrificed my life for 2 1/2 weeks to get these pauldrons since iksars can't wear Imbued Granite Spaulders).
Anyways, I'm sharing it now that I got my pauldrons and don't have to worry about camping them ever ever again *Thanks the powers that be*

Thanks for the info. Do you or anyone else for the matter know the location of this "Battlemaster". Really looking to get one of these but have grown restless waiting for one to drop ( Any help would be apriciated.
