I got this yesterday and Im sporting it for a while. Its a nice little souvenir, never got something like this before.
Anyhow, quit complaining about this sash. Any ranger that knows his class knows that wis is king. More wis=more mana=more spellcasting. This is the basis of ranger soloing. Granted its only 3 wis and there are other wis belts you could wear, but the fact its a unique souvenir should make you want to sport it. Oh yeah, 15svf is useful for naggy, talendor, temple of veeshan, etc.

Any ranger who knows his class knows that str,dex and AC are king and wis is just an added benifit. People who try to play ranger as druids a frikin retarded. you need str and dex to increase your damage output during a fight and Ac to make sure that when you get aggro they dont hit quite as much or as hard. The mana is used mostly before or after a fight. we have crappy damage spells and dots and the ones we do have dont use that much mana. So play a ranger for more than 9 lvls and quit tryin to tell people that they are retarded. yes this belt is good but you need more Ac and str.
Agree. There is exactly ONE spell Rangers get that will actually outdamage melee in the time it takes to cast. That spell is Call of Flames. It's level 50, and you have to quest for it.
Not being level 50, I do not yet have the spell. Consequesntly, I almost never nuke. The exception is Careless Lightning for pulls/during other's pulls. Snare is about the only spell I typically cast during fights. If we have a druid and he's not the primary healer, typically even that's covered.
Oh yeah - one more nuke: Ignite is fabulous for farming bats for batwings. Kills 'em in one shot, everytime.

Hello, it's this Edano puke here. All the items I posted dropped from mobs in Rathe Mtns and West Commons on Haloween itself. They were dropping like candy in RM, so every time I got a kill or a friend did I took a screenshot. I was part of a large raid to kill the RM dragon, and I got screenshots of all that stuff too. As for me being a GM, nope, I just didnt feel like posting my surname.
As for the item itself:
This dropped from Werewolf Overlord in WC on Haloween evening. He was green to 55, but still gave exp, so I'd guess high 30s/low 40s. The event ended shortly after I killed this guy, but I dont know if that was a coincidence.
His other drop was Pendant of the Pressing Mind, a caster necklace. https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=6962
As for the item itself:

Well, first edano has no surname.. so it's not puke.. Second it could be a GM..
it could also be a player that shouted "HEY! I want to post all the equipment from the events to allakhazam. will you send me a tell if you got something so I can take a screenshot! Thank you very much" Didn't bother to think about that I guess ehh.. Thinking.. wonderful past time.. should try it.

So... you missed the patch message that said there was going to be lots of GM events going on? Reading.. wonderful past time.. should try it.
#3 this stuff is incredibly lame. 7ac 3str 3wis 15sv vs fire..wow... OR, I could go to crystal caverns, get a crystalline belt that is 0.8wt 5ac 3wisdom 3agility 10hit points and just say, o, darn, i missed another stupid gm event.
OR you could have fun and play with the event's OR you could go buy your equipment from Ebay OR you can ....
Don't want to go to the GM events, fine. then don't complain about them or the equipment and sit around and camp the same thing till you get the "phat lewt". Leaves more room for those who like new and interesting things.

First time that I ever had people lined up begging me to be in their group was last night in EK. Tracking does come in handy on occasion. And we needed all the help we could get with 170 people in the zone. It was a blast. I don't remember getting any experience, but helping people find class specific loot (and picking up a well needed cloak for myself) was a ton of fun. It was a shot in the arm! I hope that will not be the last of it, we shall see when I log in again tonight.

I think it's YOU that needs to get the clue, pinhead. These things are worth a mint on FV, where it's obvious you aren't. How can I say that? Because you wouldn't know RP'ing if it bit you in the **** with a rabid werewolf fang...
hey some people enjoy the events.....as a ranger, i need the str more than agi,and i would also sacrifice 10 hp for the str too, and the ac is nice too.....so you are obviously not a ranger, and just probably a wis caster, so your opion is not needed on a RANGER ONLY item. and if you logged 40 in over the weekend, you must have spent all your time in CC, cuz when the sky turns red in EC and 30 or more skellies pop in the tunnel, there are about 100 people sending guild chat saying 'OMFG get to EC'.

i hate how ppl jump to judge on posts like this when you don't fully know what ur talkin about.
A) someone said these are worth a mint....well it's no drop so unless u know a new bug then it's not worth jack no matter what server ur on.
B) another says they would like to have str ac and you don't care about agi....well leme let you in on something:
1) str isn't nearly as useful as you may think it is....you need about 20-30 extra str points before it has any noticable increase of damage output or whatnot (unless ur going for wt allowence, i'd give you that)
2) agi IS ac. That's right, test it out. look at ur ac, cast feet like cat on urself and then watch ur ac go up.
now i'm not even gunna say which of u is right or wrong. I'm gunna say i think this item is better for two reasons. First it's a GM item, i've been playing for 2.5 years and i have yet to own a GM item that i would actually consider wearing. Second is that it gives 15sv fire....on a naggy raid or what not that would much more valuable then 3agi, or 3str, or 10hp.

regardless of AC i prefer str,and it only takes about 10 str to notice a difference. I am not a tank, i am a damage dealer, therefore my equipment should be bent toward dealing damage with defense coming into condiseration second. sure this doesnt make a difference, but added with 3 str gloves and 4 str boots or something, it does. and also about the NO DROP thing, he said they would be worth a mint on the FIRIONA VIE(ROLEPLAYING) server, and 99% of no drop items AREN'T no drop there.
