It certainly helps to have a tracker btw to locate specific mobs for the quest...He said she said does not workk well all the time :-P

ok, figured it out, just have this book on you (I had it in a backpack, this appeared to work just fine) while you hunt the mobs required.
There are no drops, no collections, just kill the required amount of mobs and occassionally you will be "inspired" to make an impression... i.e. you kill, and sometimes you get credit for making an impression... so just kill the mobs and stay within spell range for exp.

Sorry, Have not figured out how to use it. I had originally figured it to be a container and one would place item into it to make the impression. this is not a container, and the item I was quested to make an impression of does not exist, so one might understand the difficulties involved in decrypting the quest. At this time I have given up, figure someday the writers may realize the quest involved going to a single person who said "go do this..." so there is little need to make this indycypherable aside from that eminent joy associated with making people mad.
