What do these power sources do and how do you know which one to buy for your toon -- like Cleric + Power Source (which one) = WHAT??

the powersources are for Energeiac armor (armor with purity)

now the way that the powersources work with the energeiac armor is that they get a bonus from the powersource as long as it has purity. Each powersource acts like invisible aug that goes into each piece of energeiac armor (having more pieces does not increase the bonus though). Think of powersources like batteries for energeiac armor - they add more power, but the powersources slowly lose their power and eventually you have to buy another one (they are pretty cheap.. i usually only equip one when i really need the extra mana for my alts on tough raids/groups or if i'm just in the mood touse the powersource.. but I don't just leave the powersource equipped all the time. If you aren't xping you should unequip the powersource because the energeiac armor will drain it if it is equipped)

that page has a table that lists what stats each powersource adds. However the way purity works, is what determines how much power the armor is "pulling" from the powersource so to speak. that page lists the bonus that armor with a purity of 50 would gain. (the armor is using 50% of the powersource's stats)

the best ones for clerics? well , if you have No energeiac armor, then powersources are completely useless. If you do get some energeiac armor , from buried sea or katta castrum, then you can use that site i linked above to see which one you want.. as you may have noticed, some of them give negative hits to certain stats. The Earth orb only has bad hits to dex and agi, it's pretty good out of the basic powersources (air, earth, fire, ice, poison, shadow, water). the Light powersources has No bad hits, and is probably the best, but it's harder to get because it requires ally faction in katta castrum.
