this is a pretty good 1hs weapon for Druids for those who have gone that route or wanting to work up their 1hs cuz thats what the druid epic is, a scimitar.
Assuming you can bash with offhand weapons while dual wielding, this is a nice 1hs for warriors who all too often bear the brunt of critter casters. My first char is a Barb warrior and I constantly find myself reaching for the bash button on my DE warrior to interupt spell casting by bad guy casters. The dmg/dly isn't too bad for 1hs offhand use for the purpose of having a way to bash/interupt spells on the smaller races. <shrugs> I may try to quest this, along with the haste belt here, and the new sword with the spirit strike proc. Nice to see a zone with items that are obtainable, even via quest, to mid level chars who seem to be perpetually ooc (out of cash). Sort of like the new Runnyeye with the black alloy weapons.

i thought u needed a shield to bash?..
Before 80% of the low level charictors were twinks this kind of weapon was considered good, and still is fairly good for people who dont have (twink weapons) or hand me downs. Anyone remember when them bladed thulian claws 5/19 went for 1k? :o
I agree with Kilroth..Since almost every low lvl char out there is twinked now things arent taken for their face value..Ill agree i have a few MINOR twinks but thats it...I like to earn all i have..If you need to twink to survive then thats you but when i saw a 10th lvl dwarven warrior with a wurmslayer that is when i decided that it is getting crazy out there :o)
Hehe, lowest level I've seen with a Wurm was a 6 ... I always /rofl at anyone under 10 or even 20 running around with one - 9/40 or 14/40, pretty UBER either way ;)

If you think thats twinked I once saw a lvl 16 ranger with tolans suit, FBSS, and 2 lammies. But if you think of it he really did earn it all...just on a different char most likely (unless he was really good at conning people out of their possesions).

I find it entertaining to see these people with great items and they claim they are NOT twinks. Dont lie about it. Show dignity.
I take offense at that. I worked very hard farming tradeskill items to buy very nice equipment by level 10. Not everyone who has nice equipment is a twink. Just because you are to lazy to take the time to earn some plat don't think everyone is.

Just because you earned the money to buy it, or just because found it lying on the ground, doesn't mean you're not a twink.

I have absolutely no problem with twinking. So you farmed items or you you took the honest route and bought items for your low level toons. So what? Hand me downs, and E-bayed characters are a whole other story though.
As a ranger DON'T USE THIS!!!! get some help and kill the ghoul messenger in sk then deliver the plans to morin shadowbane in kith and you get ur short sword of morin 6 22 3 str 3 agi (not sure)

Good WEapon Ac a little hp they should make more of these type weapons for warriors

In fact, I think they should be REQUIRED to use this EXCLUSIVELY. Nice, untrainable skill and a good, solid 8.5 weight would shut ya' up quick, now wouldn't it?

what the heck? a monk slashing weapon?
My guess is that the screenshot is correct, and it is not a monk weapon. I assume that this was not yet posted when the other comments were made, but sure doesn't appear to be monk equippable.
I'd just like to add...the mining picks from iksar slaves in Echo Caverns is all/all...my cleric has used it successfully (well, as successful as can be) in combat.

Monks dont have one hand slash, no use making weapons that are slash available to them no is there?

Is that enough Monk 1hs for you? Their skill cannot go up in 1hs but they have 1hs weapons and they can attack with them, just adds flavor :P.
