Has anyone else noticed that Noonie has posted on almost every item from this zone and without fail has always said it's a POS? To Noonie: What are you expecting? You're running around killing greens in a new zone, be happy they changed the names of the items. If you want to pick up something decent go kill something around your level. Sheesh!
I guess they made these all ranged items so that you can throw them away at the next mob you see. Much more satisfying than dragging them straight to the 'destroy' button. Let's see:
1) They drop off over-conned mobs that should have something better (fine steel type effectiveness) 2) Damage sucks 3) Delay is atrocious 4) They weigh a friggin ton (what kind of bamboo they growing there anyway?) 5) Why don't they just add a self-damaging proc and call it a day?
I'm not trying to shoot you down, but if you look at this and compare it to the warren's drops, it's only slightly better if that. And those aren't for quests.
My guess is this is the "trash" items for this zone. Every low-mid level zone has them (even some upper-mid level zones). These just happen to be more crappier :) (IMO).
Is it just me or are the bamboo items in Stonebrunt seeming a little heavy to anyone else? I mean, this thing looks like just a long stick of bamboo and it weighs over half as much as a Wurmslayer. What are they reinforced with? Lead?
I guess I was just hoping that the names of these items would indicate they were leaning towards monks in usability with weight like this I don't know....
