~ Bloody Faydark ~
The recent battle that took place in Greater Faydark was between the Faydark Champions and the Orcs of
| Crushbone. As supplies grew in the storehouses of Kelethin, the Feir Dal contingent assembled under the shadow of the city. Ran Sunfire tells us that they were prepared to march if needed, when they were attacked.
"I suppose we should have expected this. We'd heard
|
| that they were assembling troops, we just didn't think they'd attack us. We are superior fighters and we know the forests. They can defend their little fort indefinitely, so we weren't expecting something stupid like an attack on us here. Of course, we should have expected something stupid."
| Through the efforts of several independent and world-weary Koada'Dal and Feir'Dal, the thoughts of the elves became focused on the growing concern about war on Antonica. Council was given, preparations made, and it was decided to unite and prepare a contingent to send where
|
| needed if evil should attack. This was not an army preparing to attack Crushbone.
Many involved in the battle claim to have seen Teir Dal with the Orcs. It seems the war from Antonica has spilled onto Faydwer.
Unfortunately, however, it
| seems as though this attack will delay the troops. Ran Sunfire had this comment:
"At this time we just don't know how long it will be before we will be able to move out. Much of our supplies were also destroyed, so even if we were healthy we wouldn't be ready for a long march for
|
| a while."
