Volume 8 No. 6
~Firiona Vie Missing Again!~ Firiona Vie, the vile high elf of some renown, has gone missing, again. She
| was said to be secured away in the castle of her "noble" father, King Tearis Thex, before being found to be missing.
"I hope the iksar kidnapped her again. If I find her, I will hold her for ransom. Do you know how much money one could make in such a position?"
|
| a citizen of Neriak was heard to say.
No official reward has been offered to find Firiona, but we are sure one would be offered should the princess fall into the wrong hands.
~Good Books are Bad~
| The Neriak Library recently mistakenly received a shipment of children's books bound for the city of Qeynos.
Nallar Q'Tentu, the head tomekeeper released an official statement to the citizens of Neriak, stating, "As you know, a large quantity of the book
|
| 'The Froglok and the Princess' recently made their way into the Neriak Library. We humbly apologize for such a mistake and promise to be more strict on what appears on our shelves. I promise you that you can still rely on us to stock such beloved texts as 'Blood and Toads,' 'Sacrifice for Beginners,'
| and other such books. I will find out how the fairy tale books made it into circulation and I will personally punish those responsible."
A concerned Neriak citizen said, "I was appalled when my child brought home a book about a froglok and a princess who were in love.
|
| How repulsive. I don't teach my children such things as love and tolerance and neither should our public library."
