Scars of VeliousI think he was trying to be sarcastic. Drones of doom on a ranger bracer would make that item as valuable as JBBs, and every ranger would want one. Tolans(unlimited arrows) and Drones of doom dot on the other, please it will never happen.

Personally I think it's a fairly nice bracer. The highest AC bracer for rangers I believe is the Tolans, which summons arrows and is AC14. Currently I have a sentry bracer (AC9) and ice forged shackles (AC10) This provides the ranger with a nice AC bracer with decent stats. (Str and Wis) Anyone notice that MANY rangers are half elf, who get royally shafted in the wis department? No ranger shops for wis gear anyway, so having it on a bracer with a str bonus and nice ac is always good.

I look for wisdom stuff, though sometimes it has to make way for other stat bonuses, it's been buffed by about 25 or so, since they are fairly hard to come by. I notice a big difference in my mana, adding wis items. One reason I LOVE Forest loops, ac, dex, agi and wis. What more could an archer ranger want? :-)
I still think the ranger epic should have been a bow!

Tolan's Darkwood Bracer is 1 more AC and NO stats, anything with more AC than that is pretty hard to get.. my warrior dosen't even have a bracer with this much AC, yeish relax and try to remember back when the hero bracer was the best a melee could get

OMFG, Verant forgot the Drones of Doom rightclick effect!
Forget it? Highly unlikely. Drones of Doom would be too powerful on a ranger's armor. And if they did put it on one, it wouldn't be on a bracer unless it was less common and harder to get than the BP probably. hehe
